At this point can we just change the name of ADC to Archery Simulator
Because if your champ can't lay down consistent damage at 1200 range then your ass isn't getting picked

Seriously, how did ADC get this bad?

MF Mains: It takes a lot of skill to press R & get a pentakill
Nerf Armor pen with the lethality changes so she's not broken
Strengthen lethality without comping any items
Puts her in the same position she was in before with more utility
Started from when cancerous mage supports was being picked and boom lucian is garbage
Does anyone actually want these mages in the bot lane? Because so far this feels pretty goddamn miserable.
No one except mage mains wants them in the bot lane
Not even sure about that. Saw alot of complains of Malzahar mains that he is getting played more as a support than as a mid lane mage.
muh diversity
did you actually not see this kind of shit from mage mains lol?
No one except mage mains wants them in the bot lane
no one except marksman mains want marksmen exclusively in the bot lane.
Im not even talking about ziggs i dont even care about him. Im talking about those cancerous mage supports that were ruining bot lane. Or are you some filthy zyra main?
Yes, because Raka vs Janna bot lanes are so fascinating.
Seriously, while the current balance between mage and traditional supports if off, the bot lane can be excessively boring when all you see is traditional supports. Poke is too weak to stick while sustain is too high to make poking worth.
Mages didn't ruin bot lane, Riot did by making support's poke a joke and making it so the only champions who can dent sustain are mages. I can't tell you how many times I regret picking Sona because of how little impact my damage truly has on the lane.
I love that Riot wrecked AP Kog for being able to lay down damage from long range.
Meanwhile!

Can imagine that cooldown was actually the factor here. There is a difference if you have to dodge a skillshot every 8 seconds (cooldown of Varus' Q maxed) or every single second (Kog'Maw's R maxed). Or in Jhin's W case every 14 seconds.
Even if you compare rank 1 R from Kog'Maw (2 seconds) to them: Kog'Maw can shoot these 4 times as often as Varus and 7 times as often as Jhin.

It's a question of decisiveness, though.
If Kog lands one Ult on a full HP soft target (which is quite a bit easier to dodge than Varus' arrow), it'll hurt but it isn't a game breaker.
If Varus lands one Q on a soft target they're going to need back off and heal because half their HP bar just evaporated.
To get the sort of impact Varus has, Kog needs to land multiple Ults in quick succession, which is harder to do while also being more resource intensive.
Varus' and Jhin's damage right now is overtuned because of lethality. Noone is denying that. But it is a problem with lethality, not with Varus' and Jhin's range in general.
Meanwhile I just say that Kog'Maw's damage from range is not allowed to be that close to Varus' and Jhin's, simply because of "windows of power". If Jhin just used his W you know you have a pretty big time window he is not able to do it again. Meaning that for this time at this range you are safe.
Now look at Kog'Maw. If he missed his R, he has 2-1 seconds cd on it. Meaning there is almost no downtime on his ranged damage potential.
I would have loved to put Kog in this list, but late game doesn't exist anymore so neither does he

I don't think that's a bad thing actually. They SHOULD be like that and squishy as crap instead of getting tankier
So you're ok with almost 15 champions being borderline unplayable?
more ok than I am with the strawman argument your post provides.
Because getting within autoattack range is enough to get you killed before you can actually do your job. I don't think the game is in quite that bad a state, but the current state of damage means that squishies will only last a few seconds when under direct fire from a single opponent, let alone a whole team, come mid- to late-game. In a balance state where even tanks can't last more than a few seconds, squishies last for even less, unless they get to hang back from a far enough range or not have to stay around for too long to do their job. It's good that we're going to see nerfs to damage-enhancing masteries, though there might need to be more work done to return to a spot where champions can expect to last out in the open for at least a little while without getting blown up.
The sad reality is right now this is pretty much just an anti-maokai or anti-poppy meta for the ADC game. ADC's are completely powerless to stop either one regardless of how fed they are, and that leads to one hell of an unfortunate game state imo
you forgot
She's just rare enough that I kept her out, but she does see some very occasional play. Certainly counts for the category though ;D
Also remember, it is skillful to rightclick from 600 units while having a get out of jail free, but if you rightclick while melee and not having one, oooh you are so braindead.
semi- random question, but... how come kalista isn't being played more right now? you'd think she would be a good pick into those skillshot-reliant champs with her mobility and hard engage ult
