So, sejuani is getting even more nerfed on the pbe, and a big one nontheless.
Ult slow duration reduced from 3 seconds to 1 second. This is probably the best proof that riot doesn't know how to balance the game.

TBh i think balance team is trolling. There's no explanation or logic behind their decisions.

Their only reason is removing Sejuani from Pro Play, just because...
Ah yes. Nerf the trash Sej but ignore the best champs currently
Typical of Riot
Just played from from the rotation, and she sucked.
Meddler's statement on Sejuani in Quick Gameplay Thoughts:
Sejuani - A likely pro issue, especially with nerfs to Gragas and Trundle planned. At the same time she's in a pretty sad state in regular play. Might be able to find changes that lower pro value without further hitting regular, those sorts of changes are riskier to land accurately though which is a concern at this time of year.
This change sounds like complete bs to me.
Fam I’m waiting for the Kogmaw and corki nerfs ya feel me
corki nerfs
I tough corki was in the forget list of riot game.
Can we just have a separate competitive client with it's own specific balance rules
"But then the pro players would have to adapt from live servers to pro servers!!!"
FUCK THE PRO PLAYERS! If they're so damn good it won't be a fucking problem. Im tired of 100 people across 3 continents dictating my fucking game.
No, there's another reason. Now you can scout new pros in soloq. How people who want to go pro are supposed to get there with different pro and soloq patches? You could see someone who's great in soloq but realize he's useless on a pro patch. No thanks, current system is much better.
Current system is not better. It makes champs useless, it removes items from the games, it makes the meta un fun and frustrating.
Do you know how it feels to lose a champion you used to play regularly? Or not be able to learn a champion because of how bad they are. I can't play Sejuani without inting 80% of the time. And learning Azir is a death sentence.
Current system makes pro play champion very hard to be used in soloq on lower levers. Splitting pro play patches and normal patches basically removes any reason of climbing if you want to be a pro. I think current system hurts low elo players a bit, since with enough time they'll be able to play Azir/Kalista/Ryze/whatever, and for low elo players Seju will be always a supportive pick. Proposed system would hurt pros and future-pros much more than current system is hurting low elo players.
It doesn't remove the reason for climbing.
The only difference between the 2 patches would be champion strengths and items (maybe). A good player can be coached to become part of a team. Adapting to a new patch isn't that hard, they do it every other week anyways. The only difference would probably be the champions he played while in pro or in casual play.
Considering over 80% of the population is low elo I would think that would be better...
Two different patches would create basically two different metas, experience on one patch could be useless on second patch.
Also problem is, no matter how Riot will cater to low elo, they'll complain anyway. Im pretty sure if champions like Azir or Kalista would be have 50% winrates in low elo, they would have like, 58-60% winrates in diamond+. I don't see any good options to make these champs decent at every elo without fully reworking them
Worst solo Q winrate in jungle.
Nerf her again.
I think they are doing this because they are trying to cut back on the amount of cc and slows in the game
They reworked her specifically to be a CC machine.

Expains why reworked champions get hard CC, and why Pyke, the support assassin got CC too.

Agreed Sej still gonna be busted after these nerfs
Busted as in as busted powerline? Useless? :P
you mean "to boot", "moreover" or "also". nonetheless is completely nonsensical the way you're using it
Sejuani doesn’t need to be rewarded for missing her ult
Her ult was already reworked into only hitting one champ. I feel this is a bit overkill simply because <100 people find her to be oppressive in pro play. And to be fair, I don't know if they do actually find her to be oppressive, but Riot is doing it for "champion diversity."
Which was dumb, because multistun took good positioning.
Both her current and old ult had a stupid fucking failsafe slow effect for even just missing it that should’ve been removed.
Right, the failsafe should have been removed, but to gut it now that her ult only hits one champ with a stun is ridiculous. They may as well just disable her for pro play at this rate since she is either hit-one-champ or do nothing.
Well that’s true, but then the question becomes why not just make the slow zone not appear when missed, and instead keep the slow duration the same?
The point of this thread is to question riot’s balancing decisions, not an actual discussion on Sejuanis gameplay.
The game is balanced around pro play, Sejuani is strong in pro play, so there you go, that's why she's getting nerfed
