Darius shuld not get an indicator for his ult

Keeping track of the damage the ult does at base, 1/2/3/4 stacks without noxian might, and 1/2/3/4/5 stacks with noxian might is one of the things that separates a good darius from a bad darius.

Darius's execute is also unique in that it's the only true dmg nuke that can reset itself with a successful execute, there is NO OTHER true dmg execute in the game like that.

Personally, I fear that such a change would severely lessen the gap between skilled darius players and non skilled darius players. It would heighten darius's win rate and probably have him nerfed again when he honestly doesnt need to be.

Darius's ult is the only true dmg execute that requires more knowledge than "oh hes at this HP"

It's the only execute that has a stacking mechanic, unlike chogath veigar and garen ultimate where you just wait to see how low they are and press r. It has variable damage dependent upon current stacks on the opponent and whether or not darius has noxian might. It shouldnt have an indicator, the impetus should be on the darius player to keep track of how much damage he can do based on those variables. A good darius gets his execute and start the dunk train, a bad darius prematurely presses R and the enemy doesnt get executed.

TL;DR darius's execute is much more unique than other executes due to its stacking mechanic and the noxian might variable (on or off). His execute is the only resettable true dmg execute in the game, so not having an indicator requires more skill and better distinguishes good from bad darii. Those who know when they can execute and when they cant to start the train of dunks.

Wait, people check the amount of damage it does and the enemy health before using it? I just try to use it when my enemy is at low health and/or has all five stacks on them.

Absolutely, if someone is low enough to dunk before 5 stacks it's SO much better to dunk them, get the reset and noxian might and dunk other people than to sit there and stack them more than you need to. Getting a reset on someone who may have only had 2 or 3 stacks can change fights as that's a lot of time you're saving.

Little bars = 100 hp big bars = 1000 hp

Keep eye on dunk base damage and add 20% for each stack up to 4 stacks. The only thing the game gives you is a maximum damage counter which is noxian might and 5 stacks on a target.

I'm sure it does, I just wasn't aware people actually check the numbers before doing it.

Those that care to main darius in some shape or form.

It's no different than learning tricks other than his iconic AA W Q animation cancel.

There's more to darius than people know.

Hate fiora riposting guillotine? You can apprehend her and immediately R and your dunk will go off while she's still disabled from the pull, this also works on people like fizz and ekko.

You can do an awkward animation cancel with Q E too.

With Darius as my second most played champion, I normally WOULD have agreed, but when riot nerfed his passive AD at earlier levels it changed my opinion, If they are going to fuck with sensitive numbers that I've had to ingrain (on whether or not I can dunk) from many games, and force me to have to relearn everything, I would rather just say "fuck it" and add an indicator.

I mean honestly, when you get really good at knowing your ultimate damage at each level with the items in your inventory, even a few less AD can fuck up what you are used to.

I've massively screwed up before and missed dunks by a few hp because I decided to use lethality over AD in my runes, so idk I feel like anything that riot does to touch his AD matters a lot if they don't add an indicator.

I don't think that an indicator for Noxian Guillotine executes would lessen the gap between skilled/non-skilled Darius', since, really, it's just an execute indicator they might not really pay much attention to. Besides - Cho'Gath's Feast and Garen's Demacian Justice get execute indicators, so why not have one on Darius? It doesn't add much too the experience, or really take away anything, IMO.
