Riot needs to delete malphite

Riot does not want malphite to be good and it’s incredibly sad. The recent changes didn’t even address his core issue and riot still wants every champion to be able to shred tanks. Malphite will never be good because he has 0 mobility other then his ult so he has no way to escape. Every champion even the ad champs he is supposed to counter just shred him because conq and Bork exist. Malphite will never be good unless riot nerfs tank shred or gives him more mobility in his kit and they will not do either of those things. I mained malphite for a long time along with Jax and it’s so sad that one of my favorite champions is just going to be left in the dust because riot is stubborn as hell.

I think he's pretty good

He can basically shut down most AD top lanes minus a few exceptions

Not really. Darius, garen, illoai, Jax, jayce, and riven all shread him. There is too much armor shread and conq still exist so he can not be effective.

Nobody can deal with late game Jax, so doesn't really count

As for the others, you just really have to bully them since it's not like they can do real damage to you

Garen shreads malphite because of his armor shread on his e and his ult doesn’t magic damage plus villain true damage. Riven also does a lot of damage to him because of conq. Jayce just rushes armor shread and is ranged so malphite can’t do anything to him

He can't be effective for the same reason that Kassadin and Teemo aren't allowed to be effective: if they are they're op. They have to be just barely viable to be balanced.

I dunno. I just recently picked him up and it’s fun. Beat a Darius, Vayne and Kayle so far. I just like being able to coordinate with the team and with the new w farming is much easier.
