Riot It is EZ to tell when an account has changed hands.

My Jungler was a Plat 2 last season. In my game he was G4 with 28% overall win rate.

He ran around the map as jungler with no pathing, would go in to top and mid lanes and CS WHILE the laner was there (no gank) Never looked for Jungle objectives. Didnt ward his jungle even tho the enemy jugler was invading all the time.

This account was eBayed or account share or paid boosted last season.

Riot its beyond stupid ez to identify this kind of account with automation and just delete it.

You mentioned a bunch of stuff that automation would be ill-suited to handle, and even a manual review would not likely see all those things as conclusive proof that the account was bought.

It's far better to use location data and playtime patterns to mark suspicious accounts. And only mark them as suspicious, because people can naturally change location and playtime habits.

Sorry dude Im a programmer and the data to identify accounts like this is already tracked by Riot.
If an account drops this far this fast its changed hands.

I agree. If riot can track key metrics (say, APM, summoners used, roles played, whatever it is a typical giveaway of different players) they can choose from any number of statistical models to very, very accurately flag accounts.

Banks/insurance do this all the time for example in credit card default.

This will narrow the number of accounts required to investigate significantly.

I'm a programmer as well. And I'm also aware of the scope of the input that Riot has to deal with when it comes down to any automation. Judging based on pathing, when and where they CS, or when they ward is bound to toss up tons of outliers that will be incorrectly judged because of all the situational variances. Something even as small as a 1% false positive rate is unacceptable given the size of the playerbase. Support would be forced to look into every case that was appealed (and that would be more than the 1% that were *falsely* punished). Support wouldn't be able to keep up.
