Talon post-nerf

Playing adc and I go to farm a side lane when an 8/6 with half my cs Talon appears speeding at me with youmuu's after unstealthing from his ult. He gets in range, Es me and uses tiamat, auto attacks and proceeds to miss his W completely. Then he presses Q and I die. 100-0. Deletes me, despite missing his ult and W, being under farmed, and me being legendary with no deaths so far in the game. Taking away the silence from his E allows other assassins or bruisers to duel him and fight back, but it's still incredibly frustrating to play him as an ap or adc. Even after the nerf I never see Talons do badly. They always have at least twice their deaths in kills.

8/6 might be a lot of deaths but it's also a lot of kills. btw what assassin cant dive a solo carry.

So...you are complaining that a Talon got lucky with 2 crits in a row?

So shouldn't you be complaining about critical hits being a thing in this game?

He probably didnt miss his ult. that happens to me all the time. He probably blinked to you before his blades fully returned to him and it really depends on what stage of the game it is. Early game talon needs to land everything to kill someone but midgame Talon gets a insane power spike and he falls off late game after that.

Every time I see someone complain about how useless Talon is without his silence I have to wonder "what are you doing wrong?". He's very much still viable.

If there is an assassin in enamy team, don't stay alone and gg. Talon can do anything with a braum, leona or a morgana

If you were alone...talon is gonna wreck you either way... He still had 8 kills which is quite a bit... Ghostblade+tiamat and I'm assuming he was going for last whisper or infinity edge or cleaver That's a lot of armor penetration and AD

You as an adc, I presume built no armor and only damage You were also alone

You will almost never beat Talon 1v1 Talon's job is to eliminate you

Next time:

Don't farm alone...make sure your support is with you If you can build armor/zhonya If you were able to see talon and you were alone just run away

Just because you were fed doesn't mean Talon can't do his job You were fed but you invested in only damage items meaning your health and armor are low, meaning Talon doesn't need all that much to kill you

I actually looked up your match on op.gg and I was right Your only defensive item was cloth armor ._.

More damage does not counter damage...just keep that in mind

While I understand your frustration Omiwom, I can tell you this situation is not really abnormal. I mean, Talon's kits provides him all the tools he needs to assassinate ADCs, pure mages and most squishy supports. You being more fed or not doesn't really matter since HE was already fed. If you're alone, if he uses Ghostblade and his ult, your chance of winning against him are minimal. Some tips: Pink ward tri-bush, keep your support close and push waves if you have vision on him only.

i don't understand half the time people say he sucks and then they says hes too powerful, after his silence removal, he took a reasonable hit, but he still is viable. he needs to hit everything seamlessly to kill you, not my fault if you cant get outta the way. you saw him run at you.... soooo
