Like let's say someone who wanted to play the game and see the potential of the design team said "Who is the most unique champion in the game and how would you describe them?", what would you say?
I'm tempted to think Singed, but he's unique for all the wrong reasons, and I wouldn't want a new player coming into the game thinking that's how it should be played.
What do you folks think?

It's not really making the teamfight 6v4 either. It's spawning in a pet (albeit a pet that is a copy of a champion or a dragon) that can only AA.
"The most unique champion" isn't "has an ability that no other champion has." "The most unique champion" is "which champion has a playstyle that is unlike any other because of how weird their kit is. Mordekaiser isn't that unique in that regard. Something like Singed or even Azir or Ivern would be way more unique than "fighter that spawns a pet"

it's not nearly as unique as you say it is. And again, it's one ability that does something kinda sorta cool.
It doesn't change your general strategy like Kindred passive does. It doesn't change how you farm the jungle like Ivern's passive does. It doesn't change how you roam/play laning phase like Bard passive does. It doesn't change how you fight champions like Singed does.
It's a fucking AOE nuke with a heal that can be put on an allied minion. Big. Fucking. Whoop.

A hypertank sustaining medic that could make insanely great plays turning a fight by double teleporting, was great at taking monster objectives with his team heal, and dealt most of his late game damage by combining his shield, taunt and thornmail damage. Even the idea of a Ninja Tank is a pretty great aesthetic, but they made him so boring with the rework.

are more unique though simply for how they were released and have kit buffs with each other. Like their individual kits are pretty unique themselves, but the duo champion with actual in-game power attached is pretty crazy when you think about it.
