Sick of lane bullies

Why, what's the freaking reasoning behind these champs?

Garen, Renekton, Lee Sin, Zed, and more.

They're just SO annoying to play against early game. You can't trade, basically can't outplay them. When playing jung you always get counter-jungled by Lee Sin at lvl 2, either destroying you, or delaying you if you warded. It's also hard to gank a lane bully because they can often win a 1v2, or at the very least kill one of you. When laning against them you have to passively farm under tower if you don't want to get destroyed, which denies your own map pressure unless you want to risk losing your tower. This also includes supports like Morgana and Blitzcrank that will f*ck you up if you took ONE wrong step of the entire game.

THEY ARE NOT OP!

They are balanced by the simple fact that they usually fall off REALLY hard when you reach lategame, and if they get countered early, they're dead weight for their team.

But GOSH, they are so annoying! Completely ruins the fun out of the game. Makes me feel like players who main these champs are the most egocentric players, as they basically play these champs to ''win'' their lane on a personal level, pissing their enemies early, but also ruining their allies' game if they get countered or reach late game. ''I won my lane so it sure ain't my fault we lost the game.''

Why does Riot allow these champions, why do people love playing them so much?

So like, I'm on a roll as far as being surprised by the herpderp of questions today.

Why did Riot invent lane bullies, and why do lane bullies exist? Gee I dunno, maybe because there are diverse champion and playstyles in league. You have lane bullies, you have slow scaling champions, you have evenly scaling champions, you have people like Shen who exist for their ult utility. All these different styles of champion contribute to a varied game.

The goal of riot is not to have 100% equality between all champions on all levels. Different styles exist to provide varied games.

there are no champions that are not lane-bullies. even in mirror matches with "farm champions" like anivia or literally ANYTHING you would look for positive trades. if your champion has certain advantages at certain stages of the game, you will try to push these advantages. no matter what matchup you pick, one of the champions will ALWAYS want to look for trades while the other looks to avoid trades if played properly.

nobody will just "farm" if you could potentially get an advantage because your kit allows it.

this is the pure natural essence of competition.

Also, I don't think champions are designed like this.

"We need a lane bully, let's make someone who makes the opponents laning phase lame!"

Nah, it just happens to be that some champions kits work out that way. And there are counters in lol there are people who will be difficult to beat and who will make your game difficult. Learning to deal with that is part of the intricacy of the game.
