Basically, the inhibitor tower nerfs just make getting baron useless
There is absolute no point in even touching baron. Its so pointless since the towers are super weak. People just seige with like 2-3 people thats it. No baron.

Except sieges.
Whether the turrets are stronger or not, it's still difficult to fight a team under tower, and the baron buff allows you to push through defending team comps. It also allows you to make a comeback in game.
I don't think you actually know what the baron buff is for.
1-3-1 splitpush with Baron = free win.
Not really, send the champions with wave clear to top and bottom.
Champions with wave clear aren't going to stop ANY champion that can split push effectively, if you're up against a jax, or nasus for example and sending ONE person to stop a splitpush unless they specifically counter that champion isn't going to stop them either, its just going to be a free kill and a free tower, then a 4v5. Unless you have a team comp that specifically dedicated to wave clear.
That is why people make the mistake of ignoring the champion instead of the minions, You send people with kill potential to defend against the split pusher, and they have to focus him out, the minions won't take the tower down nearly as quickly as the champion would, and if the split pusher ignores you, he becomes a free kill.
Most of this can just be avoided anyway by making sure you can fight for baron, it's suppose to be powerful and an objective you really need to contest for, and people are getting mad because they can't hide behind turrets anymore.
Many split pushing champions can easily dive any wave clear champion, take anivia or rumble for example against a zed or jax. I don't see the issue with the tower changes however.
I was careful to make the following phrase "You send people with kill potential to defend against the split pusher"
Wave clear, or weaker champions stay mid with the CC dealer.
There's only one cc dealer? There's your problem.
Are you trying to be a literal jackass about this?
The CC dealer, Generally the support or tank whomever has the best crowd control.
I was under the impression you were smart enough to understand this.
I'm the jackass? You're the one with a gimped team comp.
You only have one "cc dealer" with your gimped team comp
I was under the impression you knew how to build a proper team.
idiot..
Do you have any business here saying anything like that? Or are you just humping the leg of whoever you think is winning an argument. Instead of acting like a 10 year old trying to make obnoxious comments you could add something constructive to the discussion instead of being a jackass.
Because he clearly meant staying with SOMEONE with CC, and you are nitpicking the way he said it to make a stupid argument about "you only have one "cc'r"? you dont know how to build a team" That is clearly not what he was saying, and I called you an idiot because either A)He needs to very specifically explain an obvious thing to you in perfect language for you to understand -or- B)You are just being an ass on purpose because you cant argue against his valid points.
He said, very clearly, send someone with the potential and strength to stop a split pusher, and keep weaker people with the "cc dealer" aka with a tank or a good support in mid or wherever the situation needs them safely.
Is that constructive enough for you? Not that my choice of comments matters when you are so incredibly dense/assinine
What the hell do you mean my team or anything? Where are you getting these things?
I said to send champions with kill potential to lanes by themselves while the weaker ones are mid with the CC dealer, In games the CC dealer is generally your initiator.
I did not state he was the ONLY cc dealer, that was you being literal.
I said team comp, not 'your team' read above.
I said not every champion is going to have kill potential, it always depends on the situation and the champions involved.
There's only one cc dealer? There's your problem. You're the one with a gimped team comp. You only have one "cc dealer" with your gimped team comp I was under the impression you knew how to build a proper team.
You refer to "my" team, Every team should have 2 champions with killing power, the mid laner and ADC, and on some occasions the top laner and jungler are more then capable.
The rest go mid.
This is not a hard concept to grasp.
You're the one who doesn't grasp the concept of building a team. if your damage dealers are top and bot and the tanks are mid, which is what you just said, then whats to stop them from just taking the tower mid, tanks that don't deal damage against a siege comp aren't going to do anything against any team that can siege. Let's say you have an ahri and an ashe top and bot, how are either of them going to provide the much needed damage to stop the mid tower being taken, 3 tanks aren't going to stop jackshit, and if you send the tanks top or bot they still aren't going to stop jackshit.
Oh my god, attempt to think just a little bit here,
2/5 of your team is unlikely to be the ONLY damage, the reason that Ahri and Ashe leave is to deal with the enemies split pushers who are also the damage dealers. Your Jungler and Top should be more then sufficient damage.
The enemy is likely to ALSO have the weaker 3 of the team mid, the reason you have the weaker damage dealers and tanks mid is because the CC + Turret + Plus numerous people allows you to defend for a prolonged period of time until you can get help from the Ahri or Ashe. The CC from tanks means they can push the enemy off the turrets or minions, the weaker damage dealers can be kept safe, and the support is allowed to use any CC they can provide.
I don't know where your track of mind is at, but we were talking about defending against sieges, not about how to build a team.
actually, lategame i've seen towers fall to the larger minion waves in under 20seconds...not sure if they were baroned or not, but I don't think they were. the lane champ just cleared 2 waves of minions and left lane to teamfight while minions destroyed the tower
Baron minions more then likely, and it is why I said turrets aren't suppose to defend themselves the champions are.
If you ever run into a team that can defend its turrets really well but can't fight you on even ground, baron is there to help you with that. There's no law that says a game can't be ended without it, though. If baron isn't necessary, fine.
Inhibitor towers... inhibitor...
OH! Are you talking about those laser pointers they installed in the bases?
Baron is still good to assert dominance over the other ream :^]
Getting dragon is better. Dragon's buffs are permanent (except the last one) and you can get them earlier and easier.
But the purple aura will scare the other team!
It lets them know you arent messing around!
You meant this facetiously, I think, but it's kind of true. Even if your team is winning, it might be worthwhile to take Baron to keep the other team from getting it. If you can't win the game outright, it's worth considering the possibility that the other team could mount a counter offensive if they had the boost from Baron. If the dominant team's advantage is small, claiming Baron is a smart measure to prevent a turnaround.
inhib turrets need a 50% dmg buff pls
The bonus stats Baron gives and since it makes champions deal a lot less damage to minions is still really good.
So you're saying that even though the damage is unchanged, the slow still somehow made it defensible, and losing the slow ruined it?
