Don't like the amount of damage there is in the game

I play Nasus. Yeah he's really busted or useless since the buff, it feels either you're hardcarrying or losing. My damage is absolutely insane if I go melee range. It doesn't even make sense. And at the same time I feel as tanky as a low life lvl 1 Teemo with no items in teamfight (I build full tank with trinity)

Just feels bad honestly. I don't wanna deal that much damage, just to get melted as hard. I hate this stupidly high burst damage and stupidly high %health/true damage/%pen melting. The buffs I got, I'm not even happy about them.

Whenever I watch old videos from Season 2/3 it's crazy. Like people survive so much longer, it's absolutely insane. There were still oneshots; but like they were gated by actual cooldowns, tied to DFG cd for instance. Assassins/ Mages (except let's say Fizz or LB) didn't have insane mobility.

And holy shit the gold income. Yes, you can shut down for high gold as well and come back, but it's stupid you get full builds so damn fast. Platings, bounties, the amount of gold you get is just way too much.

That contributes to make games too fast. Granted, people have gotten much better at pushing advantages, ending games, since the first seasons, but even then, I didn't sign in for 20-25 minutes games.

Felt like before, lanebullies were actually bad lategame, but they also had a better scaling with exp than items and since gold flow was so much lower they reigned and felt good a decent part of the game, but when they fell off, they actually fell off really hard.

Adc's did feel bad for a good part of the game (at least in my eyes) but goddamn a lategame ADC with guardian angel granting double resists at a time where resistances were actually damn good, was really strong. And lategame was reachable.

I don't even know what I want to do with the post, just give a general feeling of feelsbadman every time I play. And hope Riot makes so that one day we'll again have a feeling of games being more enjoyable TLDR

  1. damage is too high, both in burst and tankmelting
  2. gold flow is way too high
  3. games end too fast
  4. feels like we're stuck in that and we'd need so much changes to have a balanced state with less damage and longer games overall. And feels that Riot barely made any changes to preseason in that way.

Well you must be new on boards here. We've been asking Rito to remove this burst meta for the whole seaaon 8 and preseason and we got ignored. Seems 400mil loss in profit didnt open their eyes yet.

As it is said, developers will go out of the way to not make games we want or ruin games theyve already made

Something that really blew me away was watching pro play recently. THE LOSING TEAM HAD 30 KILLS IN A 30 MINUTE GAME? THE LOSING TEAM HAD A KILL PER MINUTE. WHAT THE FUCK.

I know the farm-to-30 ardent meta was SUPER boring, but this isn't even exciting. And the casters, you can hear the indecision sometimes in their voices. Right before they switch gears to "it's Riot everything is fine, what an outplay" they have this tone like "that was not okay, what stupid crap"

Game turned garbage since preseason 8.

Ah the good old days--season 2,3, and 4. Wish we could go back...... [zombie-nunu-tears]

And the worst thing is that the balance team plan to do absolutely nothing about it going into Season 9, and it'll be more of the same. The earliest we'll see drastic changes is pre-season 10.

At this point, I'm not against reverting everything to the Ardent Meta then halving shielding/healing across the board. Literally ANYTHING is better than this.

Nerf gold income, not dmg

They know exactly what they're doing, and it's not gonna change. Or to be extremely generous, someone higher up in the chain of command is forcing the balance team to do this because their analytics show that manic flashy games make more money. But there's no way the last year+ has been an accident that they'll suddenly become aware of.

No one likes it. Only an idiot would like things the way they are right now.

Gold income is to high yes..sometimes u needed late late game to get actually a full build...now everytimes somonoe get in lead..he just snowballs and get full build within 25 minutes.Wich is insane. So yeah..nerf damage, nerf gold. Will games last 5 minute more, and china players will have to pay like little extra for 2 games? Yes Will winning a game..leave you with a enjoyment that you actually WIN the game with few good teamfights, that lasted 20 seconds, where there was some outplays? YES Nowdays I just fell bad...win or loss..it doesnt matter...im not even happy after winning and stomping somonoe and killing nexus in 22 minute....it fells sad.

riot inflicting their brain damage on players

Politur grime1/24/2019, 5:43:16 PM2 votes

The thing is Riot is mostly buffing weaker champs instead of nerfing overbearing dmg burst over years. Right now burst and who is killing their opponents faster decides matches and not macro and strategy.

Idk mbe most ppl like it, but it's not what many veterans want at least here on the boards.

+1 for your high quality post.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

They could make resistance worth buying. For all I care armor only holds up vs melee ad champion vs adc you will die no matter what.

If you want any sort of consistency in your games regarding damage, don't play Nasus, the mechanically stunted hypercarry.

MasterDClone1/25/2019, 4:38:19 AM1 votes

They just nerfed damage and buffed resistances, these too much damage posts are getting old

wolvius1/25/2019, 8:13:01 PM1 votes

Revert Ornn he didn't need more damage, he had enough.

I play Nasus. Yeah he's really busted or useless since the buff, it feels either you're hardcarrying or losing.

But isn't that Nasus, like, all the time? Either you get stomped in lane as Nasus and you spend your life farming for the rest of the game, or you get lucky with your lane partner and you get to out farm them regardless. I've never been in a situation with a Nasus where we actively trade deaths back and forth. The game is decided for either party by the first death.

The problem is not that Riot doesn't know the above. It's not ignorance. It's by design. They want a quicker game for the Asian market, eSports and it's because they think it's what they need to do to compete with modern games.

I hate it as much if not more than you. But I have accepted this fact and the game remains what it is. No amount of complaining or even valid point raising is going to change this sadly. Maybe a huge loss of playerbase and a rethink from RIOT and shareholders but nothing less.

Just don’t like 800 stack full tank Nasus at 25 minutes
