where is tryndamere on the rework schedule?

is he approprately considered? i mean he desperately needs one.

originally he was designed as a melee ad carry. right now i dont see him fulfilling this role within a team. hes downright terrible in teamfights, which is why his entire mid/lategame playstile is focused around split pushing. (and also, because hes really good at it).

you gave fiora a rework for practically the same reason, of not fulfilling her original role as an ad carry (she was basically just a bad assassin) and her fantasy as a fencer/duellist.

but apart from his problems making himself relevant in 5v5 scenarios, his laning phase is even worse. you could justify a champion being focused on split pushing, but with tryndamere win or loss of a lane is mostly decided by rng.

"do i get 2 crits in a row at level 2?"

  • yes - win lane, dont stop pushing until you reach the inhibitor. got that? good, chose another lane and repeat.

  • no - suck for the rest of the game.

hes objectively the most terribly designed champion in the game right now. both at his intended role, and his lane pattern. i remember riot removing % crit masteries because they didnt want people to win lanes off an early random crit at lvl 1 or lvl 2.

well, tryndameres kit is basically designed around this.

Yeah I too think he needs a rework. Hopefully they will address his inconsistent gameplay along with adding in more counter play to him. Btw... is it fair to have 35% crit as a built in passive? I know Yasuo has a similar passive, but he actually has to build crit to benefit.

I hate seeing Tryndamere in any of my games, regardless of what team he's on.

I played Tryndemere Tryndamere, once. My team told me to never play Tryndemere Tryndamere again.

He's probably so far down the list because they aren't sure how to preserve his thematic identity (him refusing to die) while making it less toxic to fight when strong.

He needs one, and so does Urgot. The problem is that Riot doesn't have ideas on how to work on them at the moment.
