Please do not make Katarina an AD champion

I can understand wanting to make changes to her but why do these changes have to come with a switch to AD scaling? She's an AP assassin, her fans like playing her like that. How does switching her scaling to AD do anything to make her playstyle more healthy or engaging?

As someone who loves Katarina, the idea of jumping around to enemies every 3 seconds with Shunpo so I can annoy them with auto attacks one by one does not appeal to me one bit. You haven't even made AD Katarina just another viable build, but you've destroyed AP Katarina too. The only damage she has now is Death Lotus.

This is such an unnecessary change. She will play completely differently to how her fans like, she will build completely differently to how her fans like, and her laning phase is destroyed for the sake of... being a tower pusher later? Not worth it Riot.

They change how the scaling works on one ability, give her an auto attack reset, and all the katarina players start freaking out about how they'll have to buy AD runes. My goodness, keep it together man!

Bouncing Blade deals more damage than it does on live, but that damage has been spread out to the second hit. Skilled/lucky Katarina players will target the minions with it to ensure it does the most damage possible.

If the % total AD of Sinister Steel freaks you out, just think of it as a minor nerf to it's base damage. It might not even be that if they tweak her AD scaling.

If you still feel like the world is going to end because AD Katarina will be a thing, think about it this way. Riot has already said they are changing Veigar because of DFG removal. He will probably retain his ultimates ability to scale off of the enemies AP. This gives you an option to build in a way that makes his ultimate hurt you less.

Make it what you will but this does not make her AD, it makes her Hybrid.

You can go full AP, full AD, or both and anything can work for her.

Been maining Kat and I honestly don't know how I feel about the changes. Going to take a little experimenting to figure out her new builds but the shunpo changes are going to make her have stupid mobility if you play her correctly. Her Q changes are interesting but I feel like she won't have too different a feel, and with the DFG removal this may help her find a new build closer to akali.

I logged on just to tell you, that you've earned my middle finger of approval. Just remember that AD Kat was a thing before they decided to up and take it out of the game. Its tried from time to time and is barely viable. I'd be happy as hell if they put those ratios back on bouncing blades and make it official.
