It's to compensate for the new mastery that buffs self healing.

Yi got plenty of buffs with the new items, this wont hurt him.

i'm trying to figure out the logic of nerfing the 31st best jungler in the game by plat + rankings

Dunno, he's a poorly designed champ.

Basically just a pubstomper who is either too viable, or not viable at all.

Rather than poorly designed it was designed for the time and age when everything was clunky as hell.

His AP build has a much higher win rate.

item 3124

If the 3 AD nerf was nothing special, then why do you build Doran Blade over Doran Shield?

.3 x 0 and .15 x 0 are both 0.

item 3124 that's the reason he was nerfed. a lot of champions with some sot of self healing scaling with ap has been picking up that item boosting their survavility quite a lot with the new masteries.

we've got some rage blade nerfs already and from what i hear it sounds like there's more nerfs on the way for rage blade

i don't know why they use this approach every year of nerfing champions, then nerfing the items that created any problems with those champions, then leaving the champions in their nerfed state

well call it a patented riot nerf bat xD' It happened to sejuani, it happened to sion, it happened to rengar and I''m guessing is going to keep happening. Since they really don't use PBE as a test ground but more of a debugger they always try to go for teh over nerf instead.
