why hasnt cho been nerfed into the dirt yet?

this fucking champ is too oppressive mid lane. he maxes W that chunks agood 30% of your HP and silences you for 2.5 seconds. and thats just his fucking W. lets not even get started on how he heals up any type of harass damage dealt to him with his passive, has a UNAVOIDABLE 650 true damage ult that SCALES with 70% of his AP, and a knockup+slow. if this champ gets even SLIGHTLY ahead then you mind as well just give up on mid and go somewhere else, because you a re not killing him and he WILL zone you to hell.

it makes no fucking sense. get rid of the silence on his W or atleast reduce the duration. his kit gives him enough already.

You want Cho weaknesses? I'll give you some: No mobility His OMG so OP true damage needs him to be at melee range (while having no gapclosers) Skillshot reliant Creep effing Block with 6 stacks is brutal High mana costs if he wants to oppress his lane early Melee range to last hit and heal off your harass (which you shouldn't stop doing when he goes in to last hit) Stacks HP mainly on the mid lane (HP by itself is no longer good, this isn't season 2) Lacks initiation compared to other tanks Predictable His lowest cooldown is 9 seconds, and during those, he is quite vulnerable to ganks Only 2 basic abilities A bad Cho can very well hit you by accident under your turret with his E It is possible to know when he just used his ult judging by the amount of stacks he has

Now his strengths are pretty amazing too, but don't come at me saying his kit has no weakness or is overloaded.

cho is balanced imo , just ask ur jungler to gank him often . and dont feed him obviously

Mana issues, stack loss on death, 0 mobility, near 0 tankiness early to mid, auto lane push or bad last hitting, telegraphed and delayed knockup, melee, high and non-reducing-per-level spell CDs, maybe more?

The things he has going for him are the cone silence, getting big (if it works) and AoE knockup (again if it works).

Otherwise he is a pretty situational pick and shouldn't warrant a gut.

A lot of mid-laners have mana issues early on. Cho, unlike most of them, has mana sustain.

Stack loss upon death is barely a con. It makes him less durable, sure, but a Cho with even two stacks is significantly more durable than most AP mids and every assassin I can think of.

He's not very mobile, sure, but a good Cho who is doing well in lane can literally just ignore ganks from most junglers and walk back to his turret (especially if he knocks them up first).

How do you figure? Sure, he won't be as durable as a Garen who is doing equally well in lane, but Cho will still be far hardier than most AP Carries.

He does indeed push the lane if he farms with his abilities, but bad last-hitting? Farming with just your E active doesn't push the lane much (especially if you have a silly AP mid trying to poke you down with abilities that push the wave harder), and Cho has better base AD than any AP mid I can think of. Combined with his E, last-hitting with Cho is piss easy.

His rupture is indeed hard to land. A good Cho is separated from a bad Cho depending on how consistently they can land it. But a single Q-W chunks his opponent's HP by nearly half, depending on who you're against, and suddenly trading with Cho becomes a seriously bad idea, especially if you don't have HP sustain like he does. Because, assuming he's level six, if he lands another Q, he's going to W and then R you, ensuring a kill.

His cooldowns are pretty high, yeah, and I'd agree that they are one of his few downsides.

Cho isn't really a situational pick. He's one of the safest mid-laners in the game. I play Cho. I main him, actually, and can say with all honesty that there is not a single mid-laner that comes to mind I'd be afraid of facing with Cho.

Does he need a nerf? Maybe. Maybe the meta just favors him right now? I don't know. But he's easily one of the strongest mid-laners IMHO.

0 mana issues if you don't suck at management, doesn't require mobility because he'll take at least one champion with him when he gets ganked. If not, he has the self-peel to make people gtfo from him. A catalyst and feast stacks are all he needs for tankiness. Bad last hitting? Wat? He has tools to LH under turret, and his base AA damage is actually pretty high, so is his base AS. You can get ionian's or even scaling CDR glyphs, you can max W in lane (which you should in most matchups) which is absolute hell to dodge, as it zones people away from poking him and allows him a relatively easy time in lane.

He gets shrekt by mobility

By unavoidable you mean melee range right? I'll respond to it before you even post it too, if he flashes to ult you he now has no escape for several minutes so get your jungler on that because he's piss easy to gank. Cho is fine as he is, he's just a good counter to several popular things.

lol, 950, 700, 500 range is not "melee"

You said his ultimate is an unavoidable nuke when it's essentially just a melee range spell. His rupture is one of the easiest skillshots in the game to dodge, and many mids just farm outside of scream range.

What is your problem with him again? Sounds like a learn to play issue, not a Cho issue.

Sounds like he got rekt by a cho gath and got mad bro.

I like to play champions that people don't play much. Cho was that for me last year and I had a pretty good run with him in season 4. He was excellent vs popular picks like Zed Leblanc Fizz Katarina

I struggled vs champions who are not that popular like Swain Tryndamere Anivia Brand

Also, good Vi and JarvanIV players camped me and destroyed me often regardless of what I was up against.

Other than perhaps his passive sustain being too strong, I don't really see anything wrong with Cho. But that sustain is also part of what makes him unique so maybe take some power from his w or q and make his E stronger. Ya know, give him more pushing power and sustained damage and take away some of the burst.
