Question about mana change.

I hand't play mage since the mana nerf and i would know how this affect Tear user late game (less mana = less ap) and mage like viktor/lux who rely on spell rotation. Who do you think it hit hard or who didn't too much? Who's mage that is not an assassin are worth to play? Should i get tear or luden build for normal mage like lux/orianna/ziggs because they need mana? (I love play mage instead of assasin so i wanted to know what should be good or no).

Overall yes, the changes did reduce overall AP for late game, but mana being reduced isn't really a problem imo. Then again, I don't play a whole lot of different things, so I'm not sure who it effected more. I think any mage is worth playing if you enjoy them, regardless of the mana / item changes.

To answer your last question, personally I prefer Ludens over the tear items for most situations. Not to say tear is bad, but I don't like it for my play style most of the time. Ludens' build path gives you a decent amount of AP while building it (and you still get a nice chunk of mana from it), and once it's finished you're dealing that extra damage upfront; no need to stack anything.

Tear on the other hand is 850 gold, only gives you mana until you finish the item, and even once the item is fully built you need to stack it to get the full effect. All this does is further delaying your power spike, which is a pretty big deal in a meta where games are averaging around 20-25 mins.

The only time I really build tear is if I know the game is going to be much longer and I can afford to do so, or if I'm far enough ahead that the 850 spent on that won't immediately lose me the lane. Even then, it's more for the AP that I'll eventually get from it than it is the mana.

TL;DR: Imo, go for Ludens. It'll let you snowball harder while still giving you mana / CDR.

I'm glad to know that mana change didn't change too much. But what do you think about GLP right now? Can it be a good mana item compared to luden?

I think GLP is amazing actually. If we're including that among the other items, I'd say it's more worth buying that than the other 2 assuming you remember to use it. It's much cheaper and gives you the same CDR / mana as ludens while only losing 10 AP. It makes up for that though with the active in the form of extra damage and utility. It can help you set up your skillshots, kite people, etc. Overall it's a really great thing to buy atm imo.

I hand't play mage since the mana nerf and i would know how this affect Tear user late game (less mana = less ap) and mage like viktor/lux who rely on spell rotation.

It'll take some AP away from them, but it won't plummet their AP a massive amount. Even with a 300 mana difference, they only lose a max of 16 AP (15.84, rounded up) from Seraph's (And that's with Rabadon's, 3 infernals, and an Elder drake). Ryze loses more, but that's because of his passive. So you're only losing 80% of an amplifying tome in the circumstance of the highest AP gains from Seraph's possible.

Who do you think it hit hard or who didn't too much?

It hurt champions that already tend to run out of mana quickly mid and late-game the most. It counts as an overall buff for those who had mana problems pre-LC, and it's a straightforward buff to Morgana mid and Karthus, who never opt into Lost Chapter for mana (Morgana who never buys it, and Karthus who buys tear for Seraph's). I assume it's a buff to all other RoA users, as well.

Who's mage that is not an assassin are worth to play?

Karthus, Morgana, Ahri (Shut up she's a mage not an assassin). They're my personal suggestions. Karthus has been getting indirectly buffed to hell recently, Morgana is a good anti-assassin (Lanes against her tend to be very, very neutral, and assassins need an early-game lead), and Ahri got slightly buffed by the changes, imo (my only mana problems on her have ever been in early-game). Ahri also has assassin-esque burst, while still having the general utility of a mage.

Should i get tear or luden build for normal mage like lux/orianna/ziggs because they need mana?

I'd still suggest Luden's on them. Orianna might want tear, but the other two don't. I only remember getting Tear on Lux once, and that's in OfA, when I needed that scaling to put me ahead late-game. They should be fine on mana, imo.

(I love play mage instead of assasin so i wanted to know what should be good or no).

Good. Mages are actually useful to their team, unlike assassins. :3
