Plz don't nerf aftershock in this way, tank will suffer.

Tank will be hard nerf by that. Aftershock is picked as a top rune against ranged match up and is core on jungle since they can't proc grasp and since they lack the tankyness to trade with other jungler before they get item will make them easy to be bullied. Just revert the aftershock to be a tank rune if the main goal is to kill the aftershock for other class (flat -> %value), removing the ap/ad ratio (even tho is a good idea) also would affect them too since some tanky jungle build some ap (Gragas and Amumu come into my mind).

tanks need %bonus rather than flat stats. its more logical as a tank rune.

Reducing it to about the level of a cloth armor is just too harsh, i can agree that it needs a nerf but not this hard. Tanks arent in a great spot either. The only tanks with a 50% winrate(or above) are junglers and this change wont affect them all too much.

Riot doesn’t care about tanks. They’ll use this as another excuse to kick them while their down and continue ignoring that tanks are litteraly unplayable as is.

Uh good. Tanks should get hit extremely hard. Currently they are extremely fast,extremely tanky, and do similar or more damage than carries. remove aftershock and then also nerf alot more. ADC shouldn't get one shot by a malphite or a sejuani or a rammus. Not how the game was supposed to function.

I think this isn't really a nerf for tanks. Just for non tanks. And that's exactly what everyone wanted.

The adaptive DMG nerf doesn't affect Tanks since they don't have much or no bonus DMG anyway. They get the most out of the %HP dmg already.

And the power shift from early to lategame is ok, so we don't die in lategame teamfights so fast.

Around lvl 8-9 the new Aftershock is better than the old one.

And let's be honest here: 70 Armor AND AP resistance at lvl 1 was fucking broken.

For tanks it's more a change than a nerf. For everyone else it's a nerf. I like that.

Edit: Also keep in mind that Cinderhulk buff that is actually awesome for jungle farm and was long overdue.

I believe picking Tank support is more punishable now after this nerf. They had too much early power " All in + Gank setup + Roaming + Vision control " Which is unfair compared with Squishy supports, You can't get vision with both of enchanters/mages, and that is why they aren't viable in pro play anymore after the remove of Tracker's Knife. I was asking for something like that, Champions like Thresh~Alistar and Pyke should be more punishable if they messed up their position or engages and i think it's fair. For top/jg aftershock users, I think it's time to add new keystone for them specifically, And hopefully other roles don't abuse it.

League has a problem with junglers who 2-3 shots you. This nerf to aftershock just pushes this problem further. There is no viable tank rune for tanky junglers and therefore people will pick other classes for that role.

You think tanks will suffer? i dont. Grasp is the most overpowered rune in the game as a tank vs melee. Tanks will always get slapped by ranged klepto top. Its more like other aspects in the game that should get reworked and removed, like true dmg and mass amount of % dmg. I see that aftershock is the only option in jungel for tanks. Phase rush is good too.

People are overreacting on this nerf, having 20 armor lvl 1 is 600 worth gold and the equivalent of two clothes armor. It will still be strong early, you will still feel its effect in lvl 2/3 fight (where it was clearly busted btw) and it will be way stronger late.

They just gave clear trade off if you pick it up, basically no gaining scaling damage as a mage and also not being impossible to trade/kill early. BUT it is still good in what it does. Mid game will be the same as before, late will be better.

I don't see how people don't get that 170 armor AND magic resistance late is huge, it can allow a bruiser to survive so much in TF late if he just built HP as defensive option and few armor/MR.

I just really miss old masteries. Not old runes, fuck that but... current runes give me headaches for totally different reasons. I preferred stat-based masteries.

Putting it back to what it was before would still have certain champions abusing it. Putting it in this state can open up the opportunity of getting Courage back.
