Rito, what is the stacking interaction between Maw and Sterak's?

If you build both, what do you get? Do both shields trigger at the same time, do they share one cooldown, does only one item ever work?

I would love to know, and I'm sure many other people would as well.

Think of it this way: If you build Rapidfire Cannon and Statik Shiv, which one procs?

both do, but the single target damage is only the greater of the two. it's kind of difficult to understand how the shields would work, as they are two different types so you can't just take the larger of the two and keep the other effects and call it a day

With the name change for the passive only one should work, while the other will be disabled. I want to say it's the first one you buy that stays active.

i'm really curious to see how it ends up working

Actually, the way it is going to work is that proccing one will put both on cooldown.

So either take 1800 damage in 5 seconds and get Sterak's Fury or get reduced to 30% or lower and get Maw's shield. Either thing happening puts both shields on cooldown.

Oh. That's actually pretty cool. I don't see it being very useful, but that's a pretty cool functionality there.
