Sliver players are esstentially skittles.
Ever open a bag of skittles or any candy with multiple flavors inside? You just never know what flavor your gonna see first or maybe you don't look you just taste it before you know what flavor your actually eating. Why compare a bag of candy to sliver players ? In this thread ill attempt to break down the inconsistency of sliver players and how much of a skill gap there actually is between the players.
Note: I am sliver myself i am sliver 5 Ive been in all the sliver tiers from 5 - 2 expect sliver 1 but you know whats the first thing i noticed ? from as low as bronze 2 to sliver 2 i noticed NO difference in skill among my own team mates and my enemy team mates that i faced or had.
If you had a bronze 1 player in promos for sliver and also had a sliver 3 or 4 player on the same team, there is remarkably NO difference between the two what so ever. However i am talking about **general performance ** and the generalization of the performance is which ill be comparing to skittles.
So we get seemingly either to what we think / refer too that are bad / good players on either team in a match. Reason being they are **Skittles ** completely random however we are familiar right away with them.
Strawberry (Red skittle) :
This skittle just loves feeding its almost like hes paid in advance gloriously to ruin your day. Very unpredictable skittle right here. Emotion control is nonexistent and tempers with brain function effortlessly. Prime example would be hes feeding top 0 5 and not realizing his ADC bot is 7 1 and has control of his / her lane. However despite this information known, this skittle will continue to tilt and feed his own lane even more. Most red skittles tend to have a severe ego dilemma as well.
Strawberry Starfruit (Pink skittle) :
Now this guy isn't exactly carrying the game but hes staying alive, farming, also reminding the team to turtle in extreme situations, also has an eye for objectives and pings summoners such as 
. Also to note very laid back at times doesn't fester with emotion much and far less likely to tilt. Steady map awareness as well but cant predict when huge objectives are being taken in fog of war. You can see glimpses of a grape skittle at times.
Lemon (Yellow skittle) :
Shows early progress, perhaps first blood is taken. Seems to know how to use a lead effectively into mid game. Better than average map awareness. Pings several times in sure of danger approaching. Emotionally is between black & white. A rage with no end or a calm emotionless storm of promise. When tilted this skittle resembles much of a strawberry but when given the chance is snapped back to reality and is aware of the current situation.
Green Apple or Lime (Green skittle) :
Mechanically brilliant not so often misses his skill shots and understands proper positioning in fights. This is the skittle just takes action and steals objectives for his team when the opportunity is given. Completely understands the reward of taking opportunities. Emotionally is just as stable as a lemon skittle. However green skittles are tormented and cursed by arrogance, the arrogance blinds this skittle at times in the heat of the moment leading to decision making that can disguise this skittle as a strawberry skittle.
Grape (Purple skittle) :
Perhaps the most well rounded skittle. Recognizes leads immediately, knows how to abuse punishment on enemy players in various situations. This is the skittle that's focus is more revolved around objectives than kills. However the words of opportunity and risk greatly discourages this skittle from taking the maximum potential out of a situation. This is the most safe skittle at heart and lacks the fire of performance the green skittle has, preventing this skittle from being the best among the skittles. Pink skittles often evolve towards this color through experience.
**Orange (Orange skittle) : **
The smurf essentially. The skittle you always want on your team. The hero that comes to save the damsel in distress. The guy who just doesn't let you down.
All these skittles i have encountered several times. This is why i can distinguish them apart. At heart this is what sliver players all consist of as far as skill. So if you ever wonder what being in sliver is like
