Why is there a blind pick?

Seriously, I am playing this game since Lissandra patch, I think it was season 3 right? And I still do not understand why is there a blind pick? Normal draft pick is way better and more healthy than blind pick in any way. Players who play draft pick are also way better than players who play blind pick yet for whatever reason we are forced to play blind pick after midnight. I know there is a ranked option but its not like we don't want to chill and play some normals without getting frustrated because people can't agree with the priority pick. I don't really want to get stuck with the guy who wants top and nothing else and than he decides to troll and go duo top. I know this is an old issue but srsly, blind pick is frustrating.

Hahaha good one. :D Srsly blind pick i so so so SO OUTDATED. I understand that normal games are not Riots major concern but still.....having mirror lanes, trolls, crybsbies at the champ select simply sucks. Just remove that mode or whatever it is, give us teambuilder or draft pick, or give us teambuilder before midnight and draft pick after midnight, whatever, just stop forcing us to hell.

I wish they would have closed BLind and replaced it with Team Builder cause that was a much better blind option.

because draft mode is a waste of time, I just want to pick a champion and get into the game, not waste several minutes in draft mode, that's just boring

How is Draft a waste of time and Blinds are not? People in draft do not complain about roles, trey don't go duo top or trio mid. Waiting few minutes in champ select is way better than playing 30 minutes with trolls.

because I can't even remember the last time I had a troll in blind pick, maybe my lp is too high because it barely every happened, if anything I had more trolls in ranked than in blind pick, so with that in mind why spend several minutes of my time doing nothing in champion select if I can just go in to the game right away

Because i want a quick game without banning, having my champ banned/locked from me and i dont care about match ups because i just play for fun and dont need to blame my loss on the enemy team.

yesterday had the worst experience in months.

some jackass joined the select picked akali top instalocked it literally 10 seconds after i called it.

i couldnt dodge because i was held hostage in another select a few hours before so i had to stick with it.

went bot with lux as riven adc and got my ass camped by an ezreal abusing jungle and we were still the only ones to win lane.

the akali ended up being the reason we lost.

she didnt type a singl word meaning she will never get punished for it.

she instantly left after the game ended and queued up for another.

riot working on trolls tho ™

That's exactly what I am talking about. I don't care if I get autofilled to play another role but I simply do not want to be forced to play the game that I simply have no chance to win or enjoy right from the start, it's not like I can just quit the game whenever I want to.

Simply remove the Blind pick and give us draft pick 24/7 and gg. Theres no need for blind pick at all. It promotes trolling.

Before this preseason I played it just because it was faster and I could practice vs. any champ.

Now I play draft so I have more time to adjust my runes.

EU NORDIC EAST my friend. When the clolc hits midnight you cant play draft pick, theres only rankeds and normal blind available.

for people who play blitz it is a good place to be. Same used to apply for Malphite and Amumu but that's before you started playing ...

IMO I'd gladly let them get rid of Blind and replace it with Team Builder.

God I miss Team Builder so, so , soooooooooooo much it hurts to remember.

Team builder was one of the rare cases in which Riot utilized a system that the playerbase requested and did so perfectly. It was a great system... not saying it didn't have it's flaws, but it is frustrating to know that such a system could still be around today and I think people would play that any day over Blind---especially with how the game is now.
