Is gold less cancer than bronze and silver

So. I'm in high bronze and I will probably make silver next season within a couple weeks. Ive never been beyond bronze 4 much less than bronze 2. I just hit b2 today so I don't start in b5. I don't deserve It. as curious if silver is better than bronze but it's worse. It's even more cancer. It's like at least you aren't total trash. I don't think I'll make gold any time soon though.
