ADC Itemization

I thought riot was against damage items giving defensive stats as well. With Phantom Dancer being one of the best attack speed crit items in the game and having a massive shield tied to it while giving movement speed isn't it a bit much on one item especially since its supposed to be on the sustain class taken out by burst. Why is it on an optimal damage item instead of a optional defensive item? Same with the change GA how its now AD + Armor and does base damage for those champs that are already being a problem? Get more damage and revive sounds like a great deal.

Personally I think that items need to be looked at for each role and determine what each role want to have as main stat and while nice niche thing they would want to counter things not place every thing a role would want on their best items in both regards.

Because if ADC builds a defensive item with no offensive stats, he is either way ahead, or he loses the game because enemy adc will kill his team faster.

Or... you can get more damage and lifesteal and a shield that can potentially save you more often than GA. Or you can get more damage and more crit. Or you can get more damage and lifesteal and a QSS active. Or you can get more damage and a tank-killing passive. Same with PD. Shield is nice, but you are trading either item 3087 , item 3094 or item 3085 effect for it. Although 600 shield is a bit too much I think, item 3156 has 350 shield and its magical damage shield and the item is more expensive

I actually disagree to an extent. Tailotmaking items to classes one one of the bigger mistakes in the game in hindsight

Riot doesnt seem capable of balancing items without making certain items dominant over others when they do it, which u could say the same for b4 they started doing it, but now the end result is 9ff builds basically dont exist anymore outside of a few key champions, so it's a net loss tbh.

Why would you think that?
