Mords Passive hits EVERYTHING 100% full damage for as long as he hits a champ and or a Large Mob.
With 
or Ravenous Hunter or Conqueror Mord Heals for MORE then Swain does too.

iiGazeii4 votesMorde's passive has 375 range, and does 8 − 25 (+ 30% AP) + 1% − 5% of target's maximum health magic damage per second.
Swain's ult has 650 range, and does 35 / 50 / 65 (+ 14.167% AP) magic damage per second, healing him for 20 / 35 / 50 (+ 16% AP) health per second.
So Swain's ult has nearly twice as much range, and heals him for anywhere from 60%-80% of the damage dealt. Mordekaiser with a Gunblade doesn't even come close to that amount of sustain.
Morde's passive gets out more damage per target, but Swain's ult hits more targets.
Morde's passive also doesn't explode at the end.
Swain's ult is definitely better.

Sure the damage output on a single champ for the DoT might not be as high, but then Swain's R fucking explodes and deals a fuckton of damage at max souls. It's also available instantly, instead of having to get 3 hits in - at least one of which must be an auto - As a melee.

Mord wins. % MAX Hp is WAY stronger then Swains damage. The stacking is on the start of the Ult and it is Bonus HPs not damage or healing.
Swain that stacks AP dies WAY too fast. HP Swain does not have the damage that Mord has.
Iv been playing him on the PBE and Mord teams win way more often then Swain team because Mord is better all around.
DuskDaUmbreon3 votesIn a teamfight Morde will only do better on paper. Having almost half the range and taking longer to activate means it's doing to functionally do less.
And that's before factoring in the big-ass high-damage explosion.

The Swain changes are better then live for sure. But not good enough. He is still weak compared to anything from the last 3 years.
FYI with all the Dashes champs have today his W is around a 20% hit rate if you are good.

You don't use your W on Swain without your E unless you're using it for vision lol
E hits > W > Q = Electrocute proc with full combo So it's probably more around 50% because you don't use W without E - unless you're just trying to snipe someone too
You also forgot to mention Swain's ult explodes like an atomic bomb too lol
