Season 6 fit nicely into my champion picks how about you?

I see a lot of threads qquing about season 6. I am still unsure how much I like all the changes but I can say they are growing on me. I however just realized a lot of my default champions are pretty strong right now and therefore have made climbing less painful at the start of this season for me.

Example: Default mid and top lanners in the past was generally Lux & Malphite, who have high win % right now. Granted Malphite really only changed due to everyone picking ad champions. I mean... i have seen people pick 4-5 ad champions when I first or 2nd pick Malphite . Ap champions still exist and are viable...

I also really enjoyed playing Elise back in season 3. Stopped playing her in 4 & 5 but started her up again. It has been going well so far.

Anyone else benefiting from these season 6 changes? I am so happy its not Vayne & Jinx in every bot lane as well.....

The problem is, for those of us who don't play ADC or Mid, you are pretty much crossing your fingers and hoping they wont lose lane...cause, too often, the better mid or adc wins the game for their team...

I play mostly assassins and tanks are dominating everything so I'm cool with it

meh, my mains were all tank, crowd control, champs in the jungle. Ya i still have a 60+% win rate on sej but i wish the tank meta would come back. I never really liked the all squish, do as much damage as possible, comps.

Vladimir. Lack of vision means split pushing isn't viable anymore. Games are over by 20-30minutes, so I have to change my build to be early game. There's no real reason to play the champion anymore. Why pick someone with a weak early game, when I can just play someone with snowball potential, and end the game before 10min?

I'll admit, S5 had Vayne with a high pick rate, and Jinx was played. All S6 did was swap them for Ezreal / Lucian.

My team got wrecked pretty hard by a vlad last night. Had not seen him in awhile so I found it strange. But I do see your point. And its true, now its ez/luc every game. But since its the end of the 1st month of the season I am ok with it. I am sure after another month or so I will be super sick of seeing them as well.

My main support is Alistar, buffering his W-Q combo was the best thing to ever happen. Plus, Windspeaker's is so legit on him.

Top lane I play a lot of Gnar, while itemization isn't the best on him right now, if you know how to use him, he can shut down a lot of what's strong in top lane.

I've actually, though, instead of trying to tailor my champions to season 6, I've spent more time learning the strong champs in season 6. Picked up Lucian, learned him well, have a lot of fun, same thing with Lissandra. There are more I wanna work on but I've found if I'm a little more flexible with my champ pool, it makes it more fun and, all in all, more rewarding.
