Took Experience Quints With Bard And It Does Not Work

With his shrines. Why is this? From what I've played on Bard he loses a lot of XP when he roams and the shrines don't give very much due to them being so far apart. It should give extra experience with quints, however, half the percentage the quints would originally provide to not make it overwhelming.

Also Bard is the most fun I've had in a long time.
