Recipe: Phage + Kindlegem + 825 gold (3000 gold total) 400 HP 40 AD 20% CD Unique Passive - Dealing physical damage to an enemy champion Cleaves them, reducing their Armor by 5% for 6 seconds (stacks up to 6 times, up to 30%). Unique passive - Rage - "Dealing physical damage grants 20 movement speed for 2 seconds. Assists on Cleaved enemy champions or kills on any unit grant 80 movement speed for 4 seconds instead. This Movement Speed is halved for ranged champions (Unique Passives with the same name don't stack.)

I wonder what the build path is now? Black cleaver rush would leave you pretty far behind in terms of damage, with only 40 AD. I'm assuming its Hydra/Lucidity Boots/Cleaver, but then again... with 5% cdr from masteries, boots and cleaver would hit the 40% cdr cap! Do you still need cdr/lvl blues now? Or would you take different boots instead? I dont know anymore lol

I take 3 CDR/level and 6 Flat CDR blues to get the 10%. If this item goes through I'll probably drop those for magic resist or armor depending on the matchup.

Build path I expect would vary based on the player. I think it's a lot more effective to rush Cleaver than a Hydra in almost all cases though. You can catch/kill squishy champions with your ult and CDR and the cleaver helps you against people who rush early armor. Win/win!

Brutalizer is actually very mediocre against people who get an early Wardens or Chain vest, so cleaver rush will actually be far better for top lane riven against tankier matchups than her current build path.

I disagree, the 20% cdr is fantastic, the onhit movement speed allows Urgot to chase better, and the armor shred still works with his E. Combined with IBOL and masteries, he can hit 40% cdr very easily. Frozen Heart, while a fantastic item, will not be the only viable item for his CDR needs now!

It does retain the current live passive of the stacking armor shred. It was specifically stated that they wanted the item to be a specialized tank buster, so thats why the glorified Phage you have listed doesn't cut it.

EDIT: This is actually incorrect, they increased the % shred to 5% per stack, max 6 stacks (30%), not removed it.

This comment made me realize: Where did the flat armor pen from brutalizer go...? Does it just disappear on upgrade? Or is brutalizer also getting reworked? Time will tell, I suppose...

Brutalizer stays the same, cleaver doesnt build out of brutalizer anymore. Its phage and kindlegem iirc. However, thats not to say brutalizer wont be getting reworked soon.. wouldnt surprise me

Oh... I guess now Brutalizer is the new secondary item that only builds into one full item. :| Wouldn't be surprised if they did something else to it at all, in that case.
