Counter tips for panth?

So i have been getting into malph top lately. I really like him a lot, hes a lot of fun and an amazing tank, but i had a game where i was against panth and couldnt really do anything at all to him :(. If i walk up, he walks back then if i attack him after that im fighting in minion wave. All he does is sits there and spams Q at me all day. Made me feel really bad :( i couldnt do anything against him so can someone give any tips on what to do against panth as malph please :(

survive til you get to 6 as Malphite stack your armor and cdr and at 6 make him your bitch...

dont feed the trojan early. he is strongest early game and unless stupid fed falls off so damn hard. as malph as long as you get tanking and know how to use your ult you will be useful in teamfights

Definitely stack armor, the Panth will most likely be going for an Arm pen item, which makes him run out of mana, SUPER FAST. Attack when you know he has only 1 or 2 abilties worth of mana after he pokes you for days. That's how i counter him. Let him poke the shit outa me till hes nearly oom, then i get him when he can't fight back :D

However if its a item 2033 Panth, ur outa luck. He won't go oom, he will never take damage, and he will just non stop poke you. This is when you definitely need to beg your JG for help rofl.
