Can you please make Malz take skill & make him a little more fun to play? I like malzahar but I'm sick of getting told that I'm bad because I play a champ that takes no skill. Make his ult a skill shot or something and buff range for compensation. Idk just make him take skill so it's not just me clicking one button and then the other player saying I suck.
ofart3 votesMalzahar does take skill in terms of positioning and he's still harder than something like Annie. His main weakness is the vulnerability to ganks but for some reason, JGs don't take advantage of that much.

Just don't engage with his silence up and you're golden in lane.
In team fights he takes a lot of knowledge as to where to position yourself and your spells.

It is very enjoyable to ult Zed when he casually towerdives me and expects to casually teleport away afterwards like with most other mages. Point and click CC on immobile champions is basically a punishment system for super-safe super-mobile meta champions.
For example. When Nidalee spears you. Cast your ult on her when she tries to pounce on you. Katarina: silence under yourself when she shunpos, tap W and ult. Etc.
There's actually a lot of skill required in his positioning.

Ooh, good point. He can rush QSS and remove his ult's cc while benefiting heavily from the MR. If Malz rushes QSS to survive Zed's ult, he'll have no mana shortly, and be left with a chunk of MR useless in the llane. If he rushes Armguard, same problem; he doesn't get the active until the hourglass is complete, and he goes oom incredibly quickly.
Hmm...also, Zed is super mobile....you're right, something's wrong. Zed needs more meaningful interaction in his kit other than "you hide from me and afk farm until I towerdive you." :^)
