Mana management is a lie

If mana management was real, then mana hungry mages would have 40% win rates. Manaless champions would stomp. Because having mana doesn’t mean your abilities hit harder, manaless champions do everything just as good.

However we have blue buff, which evens the playing field.

After mage nerfs, I run out of mana before I can kill a tank when we’re both at 6 items LUL.

I can’t play the game without blue buff. I have to back after any skirmish. And that’s with manaflow band and presence of mind.

So the fantasy of mana and all that is bullshit lol. You either have blue buff or you’re handicapped.

At least that’s how it feels to play Karthus. Mana items don’t even help so I don’t bother with them. Just going full damage and claiming blue buff baby.

Edit: okay archangels does help but if you get it you’re basically telling your team to 4v5 for a while, and the enemy team to go mid for free gold
