As much as I hate Yasuo, I don't think those buffs will make him broken, so don't freak out

Yasuo is receiving buffs to his MR because while his top lane winrate is solid, his mid lane winrate is... not as solid. (source: https://br.op.gg/champion/yasuo/statistics/top)

Those buffs are meant to help him against mages, but don't worry, they are not that big.

The ult buffs are meant to help him engage against the back line later in the game during the big fights, where he is already strong.

Also, remember that Riot already said that they will rework Yasuo so that he will be banned less often and be less frustrating to play against.

Have you actually...read your link?

Because it says he has a better winrate middle than top. 52.5%, as a matter of fact.

It's okay, we all make mistakes like this sometimes.

So why are they BUFFING a champion THEY RECOGNIZE as frustrating?

That doesn't make sense to me. Why would they buff someone they understand is problematic? He may not be overpowered, but his kit is inherently broken.

Honestly, if he lost the doubled critical chance passive (and regained the critical damage lost from it), he would be much more balanced.

Yasuo being frustrating comes in two parts. His Windwall and double crit chance.

Windwall is a terribly designed skill because "muh outplay" is simply on the user not fucking up, rather than the enemy being able to do something about it.

His doubled critical chance means he AUTOMATICALLY gets better mileage from some items simply because he gets reliability sooner. The reduced critical damage does not change that he is still getting the criticals more often and therefore more overall damage. This is especially true when you consider that critical RNG is weighted to give you progressively greater critical strike chance per critical enabled skill (as long as you have greater than 0 Critical Chance). And this was a change from before Yasuo was introduced to League.

They have no reason to make him MORE frustrating for everyone. This is Riot going "we don't know what we're doing".

To be fair, what fighter champions usually do well mid lane anyway?

So a 6.28% pick rate with a 51.26% win rate in mid is "not as solid"????

Lord help us all.

Rito might as well come out and say they hate AP mages and want to see them in the trashcan.

Honestly i think it's fine. They want to push him back into mid lane, so why not
