@meddler Before you look at buffing Vlad again (if you do) can we fix his animations instead?

######Just FYI, I don't know if he needs further buffs currently, I'm speaking in regards to potential buffs later down the road.

Vlad's Q goes on CD while consuming CR and without providing a heal. Constantly. Leaves you at 0 stacks. This is due to the massive pre-cast animation.

Vlad can take damage while entering pool, and sometimes after (against non-tethers) compare to all other untargetabilities.

While coming out of pool anyone can A-move and kill you before you can cast anything. ADCs can crit twice during this period; death sentence to pool under 30% HP. Compare to other untargetabilities.

I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting, but these are the most common frustrations I face.

TBH I never use E interaction with pool.

It just seems like such an inefficient use of W as opposed to giving you safe time to let Q/E come off CD.

It feels like the longer you can save pool, the better most of the time.

I used to use it for finishing off someone while closing the gap into a bush (very niche I know), but it feels so weird now... it is indeed inefficient usually.

I just have a ward on-hand.

Using W like that leaves me open to jungler/mid follow-up.

Only reason to W is if the brief MS buff will push you into range where otherwise you wouldn't have been and would not have been able to catch them through superior pathing.

C'mon Woon, don't be like that :( We both know that with the cd of trinkets we won't always have a ward on-hand, and I need to be invulnerable going into that bush. Every ability sequence has its purpose.

I make sure to always have a trinket on-hand.

If I'm playing aggressive enough to go for a kill, its because I'm in a position to fight/outplay the jungler after so I'll have not warded recently.

Only time I don't have one is if I'm just trying to afk farm or if I have to push to get a window to back in without losing gold/exp.

Ok, so what about on ARAM? Can you say it's not a necessary combo on ARAM either? The interaction legit feels like garbage, which it didn't used to. Because there's no wards there, no jungler there, only bloodshed. Mwahahaha.

You need to play more ARAM. After your next reply I'll give 'ya the last word Woon. All I'm saying is that pre-rework and while the rework was on Pbe it was viable; now it isn't.

Vlad could def use some QoL changes. Buffing his numbers should be an absolute last resort given how this guy can go from 0 to 100 in terms of brokenness.
