Wow.. riot must be really bored. Glad they get paid to sit on their ass all day and come up with buffs like that.

Because it's not like there are bigger issues at hand...

So now.....Ignite is no longer a counter to tryndamere?

IcyPepper1 votes

A soft counter, but not a complete hard counter or negation.

i don't think 70 hp in late game does matter tbh :|

it doesn't let him die to a minion at least

I think the intention is to bring him to a level of health where a passing wind (or a minion auto) won't immediately kill him once he exits his ult, all while still being extremely vulnerable to follow-up from enemy champions. It's not a huge buff, but is likely intended to make dying post-ult as Tryndamere feel less arbitrary.

What the actual fuck.

Hmm so instead of reworking his rng passive ,they buff his cancer ultimate so ignite is no longer counter that...

Rogueforce1 votes

ikr, should definitely rework passive instead of playing with the ult

now we wait for people to complain about a justified buff since rn literally anything can kill tryndamere as soon as he leaves ult

But then he kills everyone during that time period. clean sweep.

He already heal up to 3% of his maximum health when he leaves ultimate, and under ultimate it'll make him lose some AD (~1 AD).

You use your heal just before the end of the ultimate to avoid DoT or minions damages right at the same time of the actual 3% heal, this basically don't change anything except for some extremely rare case (like when some damages pass through your ultimate and kill you ----> very very rare) and for player who aren't careful about DoT users.

Overall I'll say it's a buff, but I'm curious on why now and on which context he'll receive some up.

Ignite reduces healing. Generally if you ignite him right before the ult ends you will kill him as long as he doesn't have ridiculous lifesteal. Except with this buff, now you probably won't.

Yeah, kind of true, although trough personal experience killing Tryndamere with ignite is not that easy to pull on live, with this 70 minimal health it will be even harder.

As Mord, I counter his ult with my DoT, as it lasts longer than his ult.. but after these buffs and his lifesteal that is typically built, I'm wondering if it may work or not.

Even still, ignite and ult should do the trivk, hopefully.

Riot was tired of tryndamere's regretting opposing my five stacks
