What was the purpose of his design again? because i believe this is the problem at heart. Its not how strong he is, its the interactions in his kit with play style. Honestly all the skills should of been involved with his orbiting stars and that disgustingly mysterious pointless ultimate that has no relation to stars which is what he was all about right? He could of had a meteor fall from the sky or something. SOMETHING epic or cool as fuck but no they went into this weird direction in design with a DRAGON.

Honestly, what they should really do is keep his stars up through CC. That would actually make him really good because then people would actually have to play around his stars instead of 1 annie stun=dead.

Like the way it is now, people just stand in one spot while sol is stunned and keep battering at him until he's dead. If he's allowed his stars in CC (how does a stun stop the rotation of multiple suns anyway?), then it'll make it so people have to move to not get killed by him. Otherwise 'lol you caught me with a stun? Lol well I have stars so you better move the fuck outta the way or take 3 stars to the face'.

Not that big of a change as people who know Sol would know to just keep moving to avoid them. But on the other hand people might see him as good if he still has access to his entire kit after the stun wears off.

The ult is definitely disappointing. I thought the rest of the kit flowed well, but nerf after nerf has left him in a pretty sorry state

I really liked him, and I actually did fairly well on him when he came out. but too many nerfs. don't feel like playing him anymore

What if his ult became a toggle that pushes people in front of him slightly as they get hit? Consumes mana to keep active and does something more useful than just a nudge that any flash/ jump skill will ignore.

Ironically ironically, no it can't.

Jarvan's R makes him immune to all cc while he's in flight and it has a longer target range than Sol's ult does.

Meaning if you click on Sol with J4's R at the same time that Sol ults you, you will fly over it and land on him, just like Azir's wall.

also he was recently nerfed for being too strong

Additionally his ult has everything to do with stars if you actually know a thing or two about astronomy

Well, the only thing I can think of that it could be close to is a solar flare. I think a supernova would have been much more awesome though

just leave a star somewhere in 30 minutes it will explode killing all champs without a banshee's veil on both teams cuz huehuehuehue
