I need a new champion to try out

I need a new champion to play. My current ones are getting stale and I'm not having much fun anymore. Anyway, my preferences are below to give you an idea of what I'm looking for.

  • I love assassins and high DPS champions, I hate playing tanks (unless for support)
  • Preferably in the mid or top lane, but possibly even a jungler
  • The ability to one shot is kinda nice
  • Bad early game (don't ask)
  • Performs best at mid/late game
  • I love high burst
  • Very good roamer
  • Efficient CSing
  • Has the ability to solo carry
  • Melee is preferred but ranged is okay for me as well
  • Idk why but I like the ability to go through walls to make quick escapes
  • Able to 1v5 if fed (lmao)
  • Requires lots of skill to be good with(I love the feeling of getting better with champions that take a lot of skill to learn. Makes the game more fun for me)

I have played Ekko, Zoe, Azir, Talon, Ahri, Akali, Rakan, and Shyvana mostly (other champions for very little time)

If you have any suggestions given the preferences above and excluding the champions I just named, please feel free to share. I'm open to all suggestions (except Fizz, Heimer, Fiddlesticks, Garen, Teemo, Blitzcrank, and any other "cancer champion"... I hate being that guy)

Thank you to anyone who would potentially help me

BTW I'm thinking of trying Riven, because she seems fun as shit and does high damage and takes a lot of skill from what I've heard. If you think she's a good pick then also tell me. Thanks!

I wouldn't say Riven takes a lot of skill. Some skill, perhaps.

I'd give Camille a try. She's a melee assassin with an adaptive shield mechanic. Her early game is fairly solid, so it might help offset your issues, and she's not a bad champion to roam with. She's good for CS, too. Her burst is insane once you get some items... And going through walls to make quick escapes is also check. She also requires a lot of skill.

As far as "dope ass skins", I'm not sure the skin on her ass is relevant, and I believe she's law-abiding. More or less.

Can't speak to 1v5 if fed, because... Well, pretty much anyone can 1v5 fed if the other team is still working their way up in level, so it's hard to call. I wouldn't 1v5 with her late game though.

Overall, I think Camille would be a great fit for what you describe.

EDIT: I think I see now. You were asking for a champion WITH a bad early game. Camille's is solid, but not amazing, particularly if you play top.

I actually forgot to add Cam with the champs i've played before, but I have, and I was awful with her. I can tell u firsthand she takes a lot of skill, but I'm willing to go back to her if shes good when i get her skills down. Thanks for the reply!

I do best with Camille when I remember to run away, if it helps. My worst Camille play happens when I forget to hit-and-run against tankier champs, haha.

You should give Tryndamere a try. He has everything you listed except bad early game and requires a lot of skill. Tryndamere does have a skill component, but it is mostly tied to macro knowledge and not mechanics. You really have to know where to be and when to be there to make good use of him. Here are the key components of him that I think you will enjoy:

Can play top or jungle effectively and possibly even mid against certain matchups like Zed or Katarina.

Possibly the highest DPS in the game with his kit giving him both free crit and AD

He kills an entire minion wave in about 1 second late game

He can easily solo carry if you get fed

His dash which can go through walls is on only about a 3 second cooldown if you are attacking things

My personal favorite part of his kit is that you build as an ADC but can still survive longer than a tank in some situations

Thank you for the response. I actually have never even consider Tryn but I'll definitely give him a try. Seems fun and I've heard some good stuff about him and see him in high elo streams a lot. Once again, thanks!

If you do give him a try, I would suggest using a build that I copied from the highest ranked Tryn player. As far as I can tell, this is his build order in almost every single game and it does work really well. Boots depend on matchup and preference. I generally go either Ionian or swiftness.
