League of Legends / Riot rant
So I started playing this game when it came out, mid season 1, then I gave up since MOBA's weren't my thing, but I came back late season 2 and I fell in love with this game. Back then I didn't really pay attention to the forums or what Riot did, but from what I heard, they were involved with what the League of Legends community, kept their promise, and brought MOST of thier promises in at a reasonable time.
We fast forward to today where it is the complete opposite, where it took Riot only two years to finally release a Dunkmaster Darius skin, keeping a since the beginning of League of Legends promise on an East coast server, they still have a tutorial that is utter bullshit and probably the worse tutorial of any online game today (they don't describe any lanes, they don't even mention what is in the jungle and what Dragon and Baron are), they have a joke of an EUW server
But what the most annoying and painful thing is about Riot is that they kiss ass to eSports for server location in NA. They prioritize the what? 300 of them over the 1 million casual players (idk, following a number off a wiki page) that play this game.
How many professional NA teams live on the East coast? None.
If Riot moved the servers to the middle of the US, then they'd have to move all of the pros as well, or else they'd complain that they're lagging. The Challenger pool would be messed up because of the "sudden lag spike". They cry when they hit 80 ping and claim it's lag.

The quotes above from another post I read had a good understanding it looked like on why there may never be an East Coast Server because of the amount of eSport / LCS players who live in the West in gaming houses (specifically L.A, where the League of Legend servers are located) and how there is none in the East Coast. And too anyone thinking the planned server migration in November will help east coast players, it wont.
Lets now move off out of eSports and server location to champion balances and reworks, majority of them SUCK. You can go onto the forums or boards and find easily a dozen posts about how..

Riot also, like I said before, does NOT take ANYTHING for champion balancing or reworks from the community and suprisingly, eSport players, NONE. They don't even think of taking a rough idea of a rework or balance from a diamond or challenger player (y'know, the players that normally have a very educated view on champions) and watering it down into something they like, they continue their "we are the developers and we only use our own ideas" unwritten motto and continue to cause problems that just turn into utter chaos with champions being played in 60-70% of all matches getting a bunch of attention and champions getting under 10% in the "we promise we will get to them" corner collecting dust.
This rant was probably a bit all around, and has no point to it, but it is really just me kinda saying what I hate and how it will probably never be fixed
