Used to balance against feast or famine. Ahh those were some good days boys. Now they go out of their way to make it feast or famine on purpose... but only if you are in the chosen select Riot approved champs.

Season 6: Keystones where a bad idea Season 7: Leathality was the WORST idea riot had untill that point. Season 8: The runeupdate by far was the biggest mistake in mmo and moba history. (the talent tree update in wow was bad enough i quit and this is worse, ironically ghostcrawler was the head of both)

because im right there with you, the talent changes for wow was one of the worst changes ive ever seen (except for, as you mentioned, this abomination of league)
