where does fiora go

I recently got a chance to play the new Fiora in a aram and have to admit I liked it. Before in that map I really didn't know what to do with my time pre-6. If my team didn't have any cc or the enemies had half a brain I couldn't' just Q to them and try to kill. I liked how all her new skill kind of interactive and they live alot of opening for new combo idea and under GOLD strategies. Her new ult is still kinda silly but I found just using it on someone who is about to die anyway works about as well as anything. Just get the heal out mid team fight. Despite all the true damage I still wouldn't want to pick a fight with a Full built tank 1v1 let alone in a team fight.

A friend of mine asked me, "where do Riot expect her to go?" which is a good question. I'm not bashing but he had a point when despite just Reworking her she still seems out of place, with or without the meta. Fiora was first a juggler assassin. She could do it because of her E which gave her attack speed and movement speed and her R to destroy. Only now none of her skills despite being fun seem all that effective in those roles. Does anyone really "Dual". From what I seen besides that tanks it's burst or be burst. You can go on for ever about gank, poke, peal, cc, engage, disengage, and front line/back line all you want but it does equal the same. You want to 100%=0% them Every time.

Question again is what is she. Despite her new skills I don't see her returning to the jungle with all the MasterYi Ekko Sejuani Elise Evelynn Hecarim RekSai Sion Gragas running around.
Can't see her going mid either verse the Yasuo Azir Annie Zed . No why she is going bot support with only W as a kinda of defend.

Now I don't know much about the meta shifting towards world's but I can't see her going TOP either. No why I can see her 1v1 Rumble Riven Jax Irelia Vladimir Teemo Gnar

Have played against all those top laners just fine. She's meant to be a bodyguard for a carry now instead of a diving assassin. You also need to build some tank items on her, just a hydra and black clever gives you so much fucking damage if you're hitting your vitals literally ever and you need the tank items to live long enough to get to your ult heal and to win a fight with a tanky enemy (and you will win if you keep hitting your vitals, they don't stop showing up you know).

I honestly have never played her much before and have Little knowledge of true 5's. but thanks for the info and hope to here more.

you basically chose all the counters to fiora in the top lane, lol.

Fiora is a CDR AoE Tank.

By building Ravenous, IBG, BC as your core damage items then full tank after -- you'll be able to survive teamfights, deal AoE damage and AoE armor shred [IBG procs BC] and decimate the enemy team.

Her one problem is actually getting these items since she is very gold reliant now but has no real effective way of killing champs 1v1 for gold if they don't let her. In short the enemy chooses whether to give her 300 gold by letting her outplay them or play safe and have her work VERY hard to get the gold she needs.
