What's the point of playing a tank when stuff like Kled and Camille exists?

If you watched LCS yesterday (can't remember which game it was), you may have noticed their top laner was Camille. It's not even a debate at this point. Camille has THE BEST lockdown in the game. Kled's ult is almost as good, but I think Camille's ult is a little bit better since there's ZERO counterplay to it. She also gets free tank stats and godlike mobility with her hookshot, and her mana costs aren't really that high either. So what's the point of playing a tank like Ornn, Volibear, Rammus, etc when you can just play someone like Camille or Kled?

Omg, that one TL game was amazing! Impact didn't want to play Voli and he still kicked ass.

I think they really depend on junglers (speaking for ornn Ornn ) in all fairness i've played FEW games with him, but thats because it always came down to how often my jungler could play since most champions only really ever took damage from the firebreathing ability he has.

Yea, same with Qiyana and Irelia , i mean why shouldn't hyper mobile damgedealers have great TF initiation with powerfull aoe ults, right?

There's not. Riot's been shoving hard engage into fighter kits that allows them to outpace tanks from laning to late game due to the damage, tools, and durability they have.
