Top Lane instantly loses hope of winning lane unless you are super long ranged. Is this ok? Irelia can purchase one damage item and then instantly win lane against 75% of the Top Lane cast?

the problem with running ignite is that it is less and less impactful as the game goes on if you are able to win lane top and they are able to find plays across the map they are creating a larger advantage for their team
and TP is more useful than ignite especially mid/late game
