I feel sorry for players who get caught up in these new systems

I am probably just old and bored of this game but I feel bad for players who get scammed by these new systems. I personally don't care about the mastery system nor the honor system because I know their meaningless. However, based on posts it seems like many do and I feel bad for them. Forget for a second that mastery's literally mean nothing and will be achieved in time played, same with this new crappy honor system, then they add on "rewards" to both of these crappy systems. I guess its cool you can get some loot out of them once in awhile. I will admit that's better than it was before where you could only buy skins but.... I know some poor souls are going to get caught up in spending money on keys/capsules/ w/e else they add and that's quite unfortunate.

Funny after all these years Riot finally added missions too...... obviously they have new paid requirements and other bullshit. Not sure why they couldn't just add these "missions" or better would have been "achievements" years ago when the game was really popular and growing. All these systems would have been better implemented years ago to be honest. Even then in their current form they still would have sucked but they at least would have been more relevant.

Man I just laugh at the loading screens now when everyone popping up with "honor level 3 or 4 or w/e". Pretty soon almost everyone who plays the game will have it. And then sadly community just going to assume people who don't are toxic when in reality its more because they probably haven't been spamming games of League and being honor whores. Its just such a dumb system lol. You can't honor enemies.... basically puts "honor your team" in your face after every game. And you get bonus for honoring teammates even if you didn't like any of them. Doesn't back date.... so literally everyone starts at same level even though some of us have played thousands of League games without being punished but start at the exact same level as someone with multiple restrictions. And then Riot is tying your honor level into higher chances for items? lmfao..... Jesus man.... who knew they could fuck up and try to scam players so hard.

Call me old fashioned but.... I have the skins I want... I don't need to honor or be honored to know not to be a dick.... I don't need some "mastery 7 token" to show I know how to play a champion (btw mastery again means nothing and their still terrible players with mastery 7 icons of champions). I am just relieved they added all this shit after I stopped caring so I don't have to worry about getting caught up in all the BS.

Please friends, don't get caught up in the bs. Don't waste money on these garbage systems..... honor people if you feel they should be honored but don't do it because "OMG NEEDS TO KEEP DAT HONORS LVL!". Don't be a dick to your team because you know it's right and increases your chances of winning instead of "omfg honorssssss". If you really want a skin.... buy the skin... or better yet don't and save some money. Don't freak out in games if you don't get your magical "s" ranking. Focus on winning the game and getting better rather than what some retarded shitty system Riot designed says. Your win % speaks louder than some garbage mastery token.

They're doing this for the money, not the players. Riot realized that the people who play LoL are obsessed with empty achievements like reaching new tiers. The problem is most players are in silver and bronze, and that's nothing to brag about.

Instead, they can now easily achieve mastery 7 and honor level 4 as a way to feel good about playing the game, which will only make them play more.

I paid Blizzard 15 dollars a month for 6 years for them to go and fuck up WoW and now I will never play another Blizzard game in my life.

As someone who plays league since s1 i really really like blizzard. I hate the fact that hearthstone is kinda pay to win but other than that hots and overwatch have great looting systems.

Been playing 7 years and I love the new systems I own more skins than I will ever need (450+) and will keep getting more because I probably won't stop playing the game. The honour system isn't just for people who aren't toxic its there to make players feel appreciated at the end of a game for things like good calls or being friendly And the mastery system is amazing, sure anyone can get to level 5 given enough time but if your bad you probably wont get the s ranks needed to get the higher levels. Neither of those are scams you can't pay to get a higher mastery or pay to get honour ranks they are things that players need to earn The missions are nice as you don't need to pay to get content. You pay for the better content in sure people who don't spend anything on the game are ok getting skins or icons where as people who pay know what they want.

Mastery 6 or 7 is meaningless. Sorry to burst your bubble man. Old honor system was the same way when it came out. People spamming it because it was the new hype thing. Did it make the game less toxic? Not really. Will this? Not really. Just another shinny thing added to peoples borders than generally just means that player is a honor whore who won't talk in game. Which.... ok cool... you do you. But the fact you get punished for not honoring teammates is dumb. The fact you cannot honor enemy is dumb. The fact every year besides season 7 not having some impact is dumb. And basically just the fact most people will get honor levels because all it takes is playing the game lol. Soon like I said everyone will just have it on their profiles and it will once again be meaningless. Even if not... it still means nothing.

You do you. If you like the missions then go all out I could care less about them. I don't need champs, don't need skins, and not like you get anything for doing them. Probably some shitty icons..... wooooo! more icons! LOL. Would have been a nice if when game first came out they added achievements or goals or missions where you could get IP for diong them ( like Blizz Hots has). So new players could overtime gain more ip to unlock new champs. But adding it now is meaningless to half the community. It's basically own zero champs or pay Riot great sums of money. Or play the game for 6-7 years nonstop to unlock most champs. So much greed in one company it's amazing.

And I never said that the new honour system was gonna make it less toxic its to make people feel appreciated They are adding honour to enemies again and there are no drawbacks from not honouring people Just get your head out of your ass If you dont like the new system dont do anything with it no one is forcing you to. Honours are optional Missions are optional Or you could make a post and when someone says otherwise just claim everything is dumb. And sure you might not like masteries but some people do ive got 498 points or something like that and it makes me happy that I've got more champs at level 5 than most people
