High Ban Rates- does Riot think they don't mean a thing?

Curious. What is Riot's stance on champs with high ban rates?

I'd argue that high ban rates mean that players don't like playing against that champion for one reason or another.

The exact reasons vary. Sometimes, the champion is overpowered, but I would guess that in most cases it's because people don't find them fun to play against.

Generally, if a champion has an extremely high ban rate, then there's a serious problem. It might not be an actual balance problem, but the champion's presence is clearly detrimental to peoples' enjoyment of the game in some way.

While Darius had his high ban rate, his win rate was 48%. Ban rate doesn't mean OP, but it often means "annoying".

high ban rates do not actually mean much

all they actually mean is that players believe there is a problem, it doesn't say what kind of problem though.

The average player isn't even able to differentiate between OP and toxic

Darius use to be top ban rate in ALL tiers, now people are like "Meh" Just play him we can play against it now.

High Ban rates are more focus on champions that can cheese through without help from most teammates. Syndra throwing all the balls in your mouth can you can't avoid it. Riven at low elo ranks can just quad kill all day. Fiora is Ms, I slap you with a ruler like a naughty principle. Every blue moon Lee Sin gets up there "Getting kicked in yo chest"

Do u guys think Riot gave too much leeway to op lane bullies? I feel they're problematic for me. Like if u pick 2 lane bullies on 2 lanes... do u think it'd raise your chances of winning?
