League of Legends is NEVER going to be fully balanced

It bugs me when people say "Riot don't nerf so and so forth because LCS BIG PLAYZZ" or "They don't know what the fuck they're doing" even though both are probably somewhat true, it's just doing that would really do fuck all in terms of making "a more diverse game" that Riot dream for (I think, unless they're lying about that too cough Solo Que)

Like if Azir, Ahri, Volibear, whatever the god tier champions are that shred through everything right now got nerfed to IDK, Ryze level and all the other champions stayed the same, pros will just find whats strongest out of the untouched pool of champions and make this new meta and we'll just go through this same cycle of "op" champions, even if champions got buffed, it's just a readjustment in the meta, THERE IS NO MEDIUM OF BALANCE IN LEAGUE, Accept that folks.

I don't think people actually believe this game will ever be fully balanced, but at the same time people just get tired of seeing the same old shit in their games. I mean, if you got Tank Ekko in about ten games straight you'd be pretty angry that's such an abused thing, same story with Bruiser/Tank Fizz, Zed, and a lot of other currently FotM picks. Basically most people don't want the game to be perfect, they just want whatever's next so they don't have to deal with what's wrong now.

RIOT can't and won't act immediately on them for a simple reason: it needs time for people to adjust and for data to be enough.

What is the problem, tank Ekko or tank items? To answer this they need to know how the other tanks are doing, for example, and this requires time.

Is tank Ekko actually a problem or people just need time to adapt? To answer this they need to see if adapting their playstile people can make him weaker or even useless, before knowing if they need to balance him and how.

It's a lot as if in the enemy team there were a full tank Tristana and a full AP Amumu. They will win every teamfight if you don't adapt and keep focusing Tristana, and will lose badly if you do adapt and focus Amumu instead.

To know if a new build should be nerfed, RIOT needs to know if its power is inherent or stems from players not yet knowing how to handle it.
