The reason why I feel this won't be added is because people will dodge a lot more games with this.
You are in ranked and your jungler is autofilled? Dodge
Your midlaner is an autofilled support howering Yasuo? Dodge
And if its not a dodge, then its an "Ok we already lost, our autofilled jungler died once, ff15 go next, gg rito" game
That's not a problem though is it? Dodging has been a feature of LoL for a while now, and RIOT are clear on the matter that they encourage it. They could penalise dodging, but they chose not to, because they want to give the players an option to get out of the game if they feel like they lost in champ select. Dont forget it does come at a price however (no matter how minor)!
So, if people will dodge more games, that's on them. They're the ones who will be penalised for it, and they are allowed to do it. Nobody blames them.
Look at the bigger picture here; the games will start with more positivity and teamwork already established before the game even starts.
People are less likely to troll / feed / throw / grief / flame if they feel connected to their teammates. And frankly, helping a struggling person who got autofilled by giving him your role does just that - like it or not, it connects the team. It makes the team feel like there actually is a team spirit to it. Like you have a common goal. And that's what LoL really lacks right now.
And honestly, it gives you less reasons to dodge. Troll picks happen now mostly cause of autofill. What Im proposing actually negates that, as it gives you the option to switch lanes with the person who got autofilled without the toxicity. There's a major difference if I see that our support got autofilled and I offer him to go mid cause I see its his main role: "Hey mate, you wanna go mid? I can supp if you want", and our support getting autofilled and instantly going "mid or feed" in chat.
Get it? If the latter happens I wont give him my lane. Cause Im stubborn. And hes an asshole. I choose not to reward assholes, even if I lose some LP for it.
And thats the problem right there. So many times I've soft-inted games cause I refuse to cooperate with and "carry" the toxic spoiled kids who think can do whatever they please in an online community. Most of these could be avoided with small features like knowing who got autofilled.
Maybe it's just me thinking this way, but I feel like I've more than proved my point; having these type of features would actually result in less toxic behaviour and more teamwork and cooperation.

Skíns
