"We weren't able to start your game"

I just tried to go into a ranked game. Been playing all morning and it's been going well, in promos to silver 1. This time, though, as it was trying to launch the load screen, "We weren't able to start your game" popped up. I restarted the client, and it didn't let me load in. Please don't tell me that this is gonna result in an automatic loss in a promo game.
