People just haven't had enough time to figure him out yet, his ult is game changing, he will for sure see play in pro play later

So far, I believe that they made Kled a pantheon kinda champion. Great early game, not so great late game. And the ult helps, but if the ream doesn't go as ham as him, it's a waste.

His early game is actually garbage tier... (I died to Vladimir with just a Dorans shield and a tp, while I had Dorans blade, long sword and null mantle + ignite). Later he killed me again with his jungler Nidalee. But after a few levels I was able to 1v2 them (Ended legendary this game). His early feels super weak, if Vladimir can solo you... but your late game damage is insane.

sorry for the necro, but vlad is a perfect counter pick to kled.

Kled's strength is in his ability to do good burst damage with his w and stick to targets with his other abilities. In lane, his biggest weakness is getting poked down to a dismount.

Vlad is able to poke him down with his q and dodge his entire w damage by pooling. This denies kleds ability to get a w off while dismounted to gain lots of courage, and vlad can heal back to full hp easily after accepting a trade which kled wins, but dismounts from.

Teemo is kleds kryptonite for the same reason, the blind ruins the w and he can poke him down. Vlad can do the same thing (albeit less poke damage) but also have great sustain to shrug off any damage kled is able to get off after his pool ends.

Kled has a really strong laning phase post lv1 as long as his opponent doesn't have two of the following traits: (strong)poke, ability to nullify his w, strong sustain.

Lets look at a few examples:

Teemo: poke + w denial from his blind: reks kled

Jayce: poke + w denial through his knockback: reks kled

Riven: no poke, can sort of deny w with stun and e, no sustain: kled beats her from lv2 to 5, her q lv1 is better and her ult is better.

Darius: no poke, cant deny w, can sustain if you let him get qs on you. If you only trade after he uses q to farm (or misses) it then back out after your w is done so he cant get lots of bleed on you, you win.

GP: meh poke, cant deny w, meh sustain: gp has two of the bad traits, but they arent strong enough to meet the criteria. Since most people dont have experience with kled, you should bait him out by playing passive and letting him push till lv3, then all in when he goes for a minion.

Garen: no poke, can sorta deny w with speed + w + silence, great sustain as long as he uses his passive well: hard matchup, but winnable.

vayne: good poke, great kiting with tumble and condemn, no sustain: this lane sucks lucian: see vayne quinn: see vayne

fiora: not poke per se, but can get good damage off before you can respond. Can get a stun off through your highly telegraphed cc which will deny your w if you go for an e+q engage. Good sustain from passive.

Final thoughts: Kled has a strong early game, but only when he is in a lane where he can use his kit effectively, he gets dumpstered against his counter picks. In late game he scales well with a great TF engage ultimate, strong damage and good innate tank stats.

This happens every time a new champion comes out. People don't know how to efficiently play them, so they complain that they suck. Look at Taliyah. She had a 33% winrate for a while until people finally understood how to properly combo with her and use her ult.

Strange, usually the only issues is his cooldowns.

Okay so far i have played Kled only 3 times and the only things that bothered me are :

  • His dismount is ~~SHIT ~~and it needs to get buffed. Like come on he cant do SHIT, he is slow and can use only Q and W.
  • His W is OP if you use it right i know that, but the time between 2 hits is way to long

And i never and i mean it NEVER could of 1v1 anyone. Once you do 4 basics he can just ~~RAPE ~~you if you don't have enough attack speed. But as many people said, he is a new champ so let us give him time :) Kled

I Keep It Kited1 votes

I'm even four with him and I have to say he's op, not in a riot needs to nerf his damage op, I rarely have lost a game with him he's the anti cancer

(1 enemy picks yasuo? Because of his e you can out dash him and keep your q on him, yasuos never get away

(2 enemy picks irelia? Go ahead baby Kleds an all in champ, skirmish because you're just going to get out kited and chunked down

The problem with how you're all playing kled is the same reason alot of people suck at gnar, the champion has conditions that need to be met, and the real opness comes out when you're off skaarl, you build up courage with two well placed shots and then finally when they see you low, flash in , waddle in who cares but you fight like an animal and skaarl comes back and I guarantee you win that trade and kill the opponent.
