Games Are Snowballing Too Fast
Lately I've seen a lot of complaints about how difficult it is to come back from a game where you are losing. I feel there is much more to this problem than simply coming back however I haven't quite been able to put my finger on the problem. Burst champions are doing well, bruiser champions are doing well, AD Carries are doing well, supports have more options than ever before. Yesterday however, I was watching Best Riven NA's stream when I saw something highly unusual.. he lost a game in a "smurf" ELO before they could even surrender the game. He was duo with another player his level, that makes two challenger level players, two professional level players, duo in a lower ELO queue losing before the 20 minute mark. Neither team had a huge lead over the other, the game was just about even. Two fights after the 15 minute mark and the game was over instantly from a fairly even score. This basically shows how bad the state of the game is right now. Games are snowballing way too hard, far too fast. Things like this shouldn't happen and it demonstrates that League is becoming more about luck than it is about actually being skilled at the game and playing well.
