With QSS ZED gone what is Zed ult counterplay?

I'm more worried that Riot's going to leave Zed alone until the(most likely) Assassin update later in the year.

i don't know man, maybe, just maybe, dodge his skill shots so he doesn't do so much damage.... his ult does damage based on a percentage of the damage he did after a delay. literally just cc him and dodge his Qs. zed is also pretty terrible vs tanks if you really don't like him. btw i don't play zed, but i do know a shit ton about him (maybe you should find a new strategy before complaining)
Zhonyas still works. Lifestealing off Zed during a fight also works.
As an aside, you shouldn't really be in a position where Zed can kill you anyway in most team fight scenarios; the should have your support/tank/etc. with you to act as peel. Plus most ADC's have some form of dodge, dash, etc. to find a gap during his ult (only exceptions being Twitch, Draven [E then W may work], Ashe [pointblank ult can help for a second, then run like hell], Jinx, Varus [ult can act as help in getting away], Kog) so Zed also has to use his dash (if it's up) to just be able to keep up.
Plus to be fair to Zed players, QSS was really annoying since it would basically prevent you from ever ulting someone if they had one; ult would basically be wasted because your extra damage would be negated. Basically every ADC would have one if a Zed was in game, so killing an ADC in a team fight always relied on your basic combos and not really the ult unless you had the raw damage to kill them without the pop and just used it to get close. And they just nerfed the damage on his W and the cd.
I don't know if I like it or dislike it, but I see the reasoning. Also remember the change works for all debuffs like Fiora ult and other stuff. Trundle ult, Darius passive, Xin passive, Kalista rend, etc.

His ult puts him behind you. YOU LITERALLY KNOW EXACTLY WHERE HE WILL BE EVERY SINGLE TIME WITHOUT FAIL WHEN HE ULTS. THAT IS THE COUNTERPLAY. CC HIM. and yes that is a valid response, cc keeps champs with crazy kits in check. thats one of the main purposes of its existence.

back in the day you countered zed with kayle mid and it was a hard counter idk how shes doing these days
