They're an absolutely atrocious deal, basically a complete waste of money and total trap for most players. The only conceivable reason to purchase them is to make smurf accounts faster, and a large portion of the playerbase hates smurf accounts.

its more money in riots pocket and it honestly doesn't hurt anything, if new people want to level faster rather than grind its their business and as for smurfs...

the smurfs reach level 30 faster and leave the newbies behind quicker

why not? im not saying buy one but its somthing on the store people can buy and use i dont see a reason for them to get rid of it.
