The amount of inconsistency I see in terms of play is so bad, it's actually hard to move up because of how bad the people you get on your team are, does anyone else feel like this or is it just me?
I peaked Plat 2 100 LP Season 6, I ended Plat 5 with 67 LP, I got placed Silver 4 this season and I'm gold 3 right now.
FourVsFive2 votesMatch making is really dumb, feel the game is now based on pure luck, was vs 2 diamond players and I had a bronze on my team so was a bronze vs diamond match up and game was not even a game. All I can say is this game is really bad at putting people together with similar skill rating, but i guess lot of diamond players get paid to carry others which probably explains why such a vast skill difference in games i been playing.

I just made it to to my series into Plat 4 with a 60 percent win rate over like 130 games. The only reason it took so many games was because half of my games were played right after the season reset and people were getting garbage LP games. I'd get +14-16 and lose 19 with an 80 percent win rate, now I have a 60 percent win rate and gain +27.

Reaper Soraka2 votesI think the topic is the inconsistencies in skill between players at 'mmr' or 'elo' skill levels. An example of this would be when a single diamond player is placed in a game with 4 high silver-low gold against a bunch of medium plat players to balance the 'mmr rating' of the game.

vOmvbrawfU1 votesHe didn't say anything about rankings in games. At all. Not once did he even hint at there being uneven matchups in terms to rankings. Not sure where you're grabbing that idea from.
The topic was literally about how hard it is to move up because of how many bad players he got. That is directly what he said. But he put that he was plat at the end so it's all good. Had a silver player or gold player posted this, they would get swarmed with how they should just carry and the enemy statistically gets more bad players than their teams.
