I hate the current state of the game

  • Towers are absolutely useless. They should strike fear but they are paper who get ignored during ALL stages of the game. Getting dived has never been so easy

  • The vision game is retarded. They took literally all skill or teameffort away from warding. Just spam blue trinket everywhere. You just bought a pink a are sitting in a bush trying to catch someone? Don't bother they will spam blue trinket on you from the other side of the map if they have to.

  • Removing true sight from sweeper puts stealth champs like Rengar, Talon, Shaco etc in an even more frustrating position to deal with

  • LeeSin and Zed being picked in literally every game

  • Thunderstorm 9/10 in every game rewarding champs with extra damage for not doing anything different they weren't doing before.

  • item 3092 Broken item. Activate for permakite and kill. Part 2 of the vision game. You don't know where the enemy is? Just spam this item with its ridiculously low cd and high range. Also mandatory to build in midlane since it gives tons of gold and is a huge playmaker to get kills thus more gold.

  • item 3124 broke Jax and Irelia even more

  • Comparing item 3157 with item 3139 aka item 3140. It takes AD champs 1300 gold to counter you while you have to spend 3500 gold to get 100 AP and 45 armor and a worse building path but they end up with statewise one of the best items in the game. They also have more choices item 3156 with also better building path item 3155

  • Rengar everything about him has been said and ignored during whole season 5

  • MissFortune and Lucian What adc diversity when you can press R to 100-0 your opponents from a save distance while they are being cc for 1-2 seconds.

  • Forcing adc's into every role. I see adc's top, mid, jungle nowadays crowding out every melee champ. Adc's have Always been the strongest and obligatory class to have in your team so lets also give them an edge in every other role to make the rest of the classes complete trash

  • RIP mages. Items cost way too much. By the time you start becoming relevant most turrets have already fallen.

  • Honorable mentions Fiora After leaving her in her current state all I can ask myself: When is her next rework? Kindred Annoying champ with ridiculous amount of damage and frustrating ult TahmKench Everyhing has been said and ignored Talon Zero counterplay whatsoever Yasuo Unfun and frustrating champ to lane against. Also his windwall is unclear and blocks way too many abilities. It should break after 1 block. DrMundo Immortal god on the Rift

Do you just take every complaint, whether right or wrong, and post them in megathreads? Tahm isn't broken, Mundo is hard countered by Mortal Reminder (if people would BUILD IT.) Rageblade is actually in a pretty ok spot now. It was only terrible when you saw it every game, now it's used sparingly. Everything else, you MAY have good points on

Xin/Irelia/Jax with rageblade are still broken af, but thats only in the 1v1 situation ^^. Im fine with mundo/tahm

MorningEspeon1 votes

Agreed. Tahm is ridiculously easy to kite in most situations and really either Last Whisper item will have some effect against a Mundo, Mortal Reminder is incredibly useful against Soraka as well! The only problem is that no one ever builds them.

What does Mortal Reminder do to Soraka?

Grevious Wounds both on herself and applied to the alllies she's trying to heal

Grevious Wounds both on herself and applied to the alllies she's trying to heal

There are really still people who don't know that GW only applies to self-healing now?

MorningEspeon1 votes

I actually did not know that. So Grevious Wounds will no longer affect your heals on others or others' heals on you?

Yes, exactly. If Soraka's target has GW, she will still heal them for the full amount, and if Soraka has GW she will still heal her allies for the same amount. The only thing GW does to Soraka is lower the amount she heals herself with Q/R.

Wowwwww... That kinda defeats the purpose of Grevious Wounds in my eyes. The whole point of them is that they reduce all healing and regeneration.

Talon is fine imo.. Kindred cant do shit without stacks, except from the ult which is kinda frustrating yes. But i agree with a lot of points you make.

I think I've been saved by the enemy kindred's ult more than it's prevented me from doing anything.

Kindred is admittedly one of the strongest junglers in the game though, I ban her just on the off chance the enemy team might get fed with her.

Maszii1 votes

Yeah she is strong cus she has mobility, can invade and can fullclear, but she is nothing without stacks.

The frustrating part comes from a game where i played lux and every time i got the fed 17 stacks enemy kindred low enough she just ulted and by that time my cooldowns were out and she could instagib me with her stacks ^^.

Yeah playing a mage with high CDs against Kindred makes me hate life.

I feel like mages are in a good spot right now. I bought Orianna after her being on free week and have been spamming her like crazy. I've gotten to the point where I can consistently achieve perfect CS (10 CS per min). With this said, I have been having little struggle winning games with her because I've been scaling out of control and have only been getting kills later into the game rather than early.

The thing that you said that I agree with and it pisses me off to see is a zed/Lee sin/yasuo in every single game. It annoys me that everyone is just playing snowball champs, because in all honesty you don't learn anything from just stomping on champions that crush given any sort of advantage.

With ADC's being everywhere it's only a couple and it's because they actually are strong in those roles.

Towers being pointless? They already rebalanced towers and are in a good spot right now. They don't get taken that fast early game anymore.

Overall, there are some frustrating champions yea, but I don't feel like many champions are underpowered. Even Taric and Urgot are doing well right now.

sorry to tell you but no matter what rank you can achieve you are forever bronze

I agree with a lot more of your complaints than not.

I miss real towers. The new "so we played Heroes of the Storm and..." towers are much less fun. You can't even turtle under your tower any more if you're losing your lane, because anyone who can kill you in less than ten seconds can just ignore the tower and come get you anyway. That dynamic feels so broken to me, whether I'm the one diving to kill, or being killed by a diver.

The situation with mages is my least favorite thing Riot has done in the year I've been playing. It's not even just the imbalance, though the fact that mages now pay twice as much to get 90% of the power of anyone else in the game does bug me. It's the lack of love. Everyone else has gotten cool new items that actually make the game more fun and interesting. Tanks are ten times more fun now, with the juggernaut stuff, than they were when I got here. The new ADC items allow for far more interesting builds than they used to get. The new jungle items make jungling a lot more fun. Meanwhile, mages lost items, and had all their prices jacked up. I get that Riot has a rotational power thing going on, and that they purposely unbalance the game in different ways, every few months, to keep the meta on its toes, but right now it genuinely feels like mages are being punished for something.

Here is the insidious truth behind the mages nerf: The NRA (national rifle association) is the largest lobby in the U.S.A., but can anyone name one popular media they invest in to support their propaganda? Of course, the answer is no. The reality is that the military industrial complex subtly invests in and influences popular media to sell their wares. The bottom line is guns. I don't know how old you are, but at some age you realize politics is in everything. In fantasy video games, the most popular get affected when the war mongers demand that players be weaned off of magic and onto guns. This is often most obvious at a time when an expected major war is ongoing or imminent. I tend to lose interest when that happens.

This is the most best very balanced game to have ever been always.
