So I'll bite. How in the hell do you have a good early game as Yasuo?

Pretty much every time I play him I feed early game and maybe do well late. Ranged mages just harass a crap ton with auto attacks and use spells when you have no options for mobility or defense, you push the wave really hard and get susceptible to ganks, you're melee and extremely squishy with only your flow shield to protect you and a windwall that every enemy just walks around or retreats once their spells get shielded. I don't understand how others do so well with him in lane.

I have just discovered the anti-QQ Yasuo post. Yasuo haters, come read this to find out how to deal with Yas

I recommend this guide: The Only Yasuo Guide You'll Ever Need. The guy is a god at Yas, and he puts some really great points out there (plus ways to deal with him as well). The actual guide doesn't start till about 2:50, but if you like his humor, the beginning is pretty funny

I'll have to try and check that out when I'm back home from work then. Thanks for the recommendation.

You pray your enemy is bad, or that your enemy is a melee tank. Those are the two most reliable methods.

The other option is to be super aggressive. Yasuo does have good level 1 aggression between his E (you -do- go E level one, right?) and auto attacks. He's reliably able to jump onto squishy mages and hurt them a bit very early and very fast. Most of them won't even properly harass you for it, but will cower in fear.

As the lane goes on, so long as you don't feed, it becomes a bit easier. Your kill potential spikes really hard at level 2, and against most players you can get first blood or force an early back because they won't know how to handle you and position properly. Assuming you keep up on farm you can win most straight up fights at level 6, provided you use windwall intelligently.

I do start E level one. Though I guess I'm just not being aggressive enough. I usually get beat in lane and try to rely outfarming my opponents to make it through the laning phase.

Is this a troll thread? Yasuo has one of the safest lanes in the game in addition to not being gated by anything... he can out-trade almost anyone at lvl 2 and his shield gives him powerful sustain that the opponent will not have.

Who exactly has a better lane than Yasuo? Possibly Xerath?

It's not a troll thread. I'm legitimately asking for advice and seeking help for what I'm doing wrong.

Well others do well with him in lane, because they know how to play him :D

LMao Yasuo only has good laning phase if the opponent is bad.

Surviving in lane is not a being a strong laner, let alone a strong early game champion.
